Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Morghuuls are undead abominations that sustain themselves by taking the life force of other living things to feed their own soul shadow, in doing so preventing the Morghuul from deteriorating (both mentally and physically). Though Morghuuls are also able be fed by Necromancers. These creatures also are unable to learn/cast magic due to their lack of souls, and are incapable of wearing heavy sets of armor due to their withered state. Morghuuls, being undead have a much higher 'tolerance' for pain, and can survive the severing of all limbs and braving the elements, excluding large scale damage, such as being cleaved in two, or the severing of their head. Being souless means that in addition to all else, are not dependent on the monks for revival. Like most undead races Morghuuls are harmed by holy magic, fire and aurum, though aurum isn't quite as damaging. Morghuuls are immortal in the sense that as long as they feed, they can exist indefinately. Morghuuls are but husks of the people they once were, lacking most emotion, yet are far from mindless corpses.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing):  Dieb was raised in the dense of the forest. Being just on the outskirts of the local kingdom of Oren, the people of the forest were free to do as they so desired, leading to the formation of several crime rings that engaged in thievery, smuggling, and much more. In the beginning, Dieb's family was relatively normal. He was the only child of his father and mother, the former of which was a fisherman and the latter a stay at home mother. But there is rarely a time when good things such as this last. Dieb's mother fell ill to a terrible fever, one that kept her up throughout the night with sweats and delirious mutterings. Unfortunately soon after contracting this sickness, Dieb's mother passed, leaving him and his father distraught and depressed.

After this it seemed that bad luck continued to spread among the Gaudner family as Dieb's father simply couldn't make a living as a fisherman. The fish were not biting or they were simply all gone by the time he had gotten out on the water. They were destitute and the eldest Gaudner was desperate to ensure the well being of his son, and so he turned to crime. He started small, swiping a bit here and there to just get by, but soon his ambition grew and so did his life in crime. At this time Dieb was a young adult, about 16 or 17, and he looked upon his father like an idol, wanting to be just like him. This would shape Dieb into the man he is today. He began to observe his father in his off time between jobs, watching and learning, even taking lessons at times in his art before he came to the age where it was time for him to make his own story. He gathered his personal effects, embraced his father one last time, and then set out into the world to take life by the reins and to empty its coffers while he was at it.
