    Name Tag Naming Pets [Bug]

    **Description**
    I renamed two separate name tags “Bhuf” and colored them dark green with my new rename tokens and when I right-clicked my dog with the tag, no name appeared and he sat up, so I tried again with the second tag, this time shift right-clicking him but the same scenario occurred. This has happened before and I made a modreq and I was told to make a bug report.

    [Grubgoth] Zuub’Yar (my Uruk persona)


    **Steps to Reproduce**

    1. /renameitem Bhuf
    2. /edit col DARK_GREEN
    3. Right click my dog


    **Expected Behavior**
    I expected my dog to have a green name above his head saying “Bhuf”


    **Actual Behavior**
    No name appears over the dog’s head, but it will sit up or sit down depending on what it was previously doing, as if there was no name tag in my hand


    **Additional Information**
    The bug occurred in my home in Goblin Town in the orcish lands. I have tried this before with my brid but the same problem occurred. I didn’t report that because I figured it wasn’t worth it, but now that I have gone through 750 minas for the tags and 3 rename tokens I just want a dog named “Bhuf” and a bird named “Zhurp Zhurp”

    Why is your character the way he/she is?  What has led them to a path requiring a Villain Application?: My character learned from Eath'Lur that slaving is a good way for money, and he has spent many days waiting for the perfect slave (Now that VA's are required, my source of income is dunzo)

     

     

     

    What are his/her motives?  What do you plan to gain from this?:

    Money, power, free work

     

     

    What moral boundaries does your character have, if any?:

    My character stops the line at Kha and halfling babies, he has had bad experiences with those buggers.

    Open Response - Answer at least two of the open ended scenarios below. Do not powergame, metagame, or do anything else rulebreaking or unrealistic. Each scenario is designed with no particular objective in mind and is open ended deliberately. Assume your character is in each position, regardless of their normal situations:

     

     

    -An elderly man with a walking stick(possibly a staff), a middle aged woman in a flowing dress, and a teenage boy with a sword hanging on his belt are walking down the road, with no others in sight that you can tell...

     

     

    -You are about to head out of your house when someone starts pounding on your door frantically.  You open the door to see a human woman, dress half torn, a gash across her cheek bleeding, fear in her eyes as she begs you for help. Someone has just attacked her and her sister, killing the sister, and the girl barely getting away and losing him...

    Dur would probably lure her inside until he could knock her out and lock her up, later selling her on the slave market as an able bodied worker.

     

    -Sitting in a bakery, you hear two men talking in hushed voices upstairs. Sneaking up the stairs, you see a figure robed in black and a Guard. The robed figure is revealing plans to the Guard about an upcoming rebellion.  You can’t tell if the robed man is betraying the rebels, or if it is the Guard betraying the town...

     

     

    -There is a knocking on your door, and when you open it there is an angry-looking man standing there, and a Olog standing behind him, eyeing you coldly.  The man tells you that you owe 1000 minas in taxes to the local Royals, and had best pay up...

    Dur would immediatley wonder why an Olog would attack another Orc, then voice the wonder. If the Olog is giving consent to do this, Dur would attempt to kill them both as quickly as possible.

     

    -Two Guards are trying to break up a fight between your acquaintance and two Humans. Your friend slays one of the Guards as he approaches, causing the other Guard as well as the Humans to pull out their weapons...

    Having read through the above rules do you swear to uphold them during any conduct you do within a raid-like setting?

    yes I do

     

     

     

    Secondly, do you swear to conduct yourself in a respectful Out-Of-Character manner during any armed occupation or raids toward the other party?

    Yes, I personally know the feels of ooc disrespect during a raid when being raided.

     

     

     

    Lastly, do you acknowledge failing to uphold any of the above promises will result in your Raid Pass being revoked on top of potentially worse punishment such as revoking of Villain Applications, Blacklisting, and potential bans?

    Do you feel you have a solid grasp on our lore and an understanding of the standards we have for applications? Yes, especially Orc

     

    Why do you want to be an AT member and do you have the ability to work with others? I wish to be AT because I enjoy knowing everyone on the server, how they like to play, and I love reading application stories.

     

    Do you recognize that you will be given extra responsibilities such as working on the LoTC wiki, assisting the AT in creating guides and helping new players with their questions upon logging into LoTC? I do recognize these responsibilities

    Is there anything else you would like to add? I love reading through apps even if I'm not AT because its cool to see the new people on the server and how they develop over the years.
