Maybe, you should empathize with the other players some, and think about what you're saying.
You said that you came here to RP. If they are attacking you, isn't that RP? Well, then, how do you decide who wins that fight? PVP. If they won, they won.
If they won, then you lose your items, unless they let you keep them. Assuming they followed the rules, that happened in RP, and you should respect it.
