The Konigreich of Aesterwald hereby formally declares full support and recognition to the Mardonic League, its member states, and their rightful autonomy. With this, the Konigreich of Aesterwald pledges military support to the Mardonic League and protection against any and all threats to its people and sovereignty.

PICATORIS ACT OF 1486
Proposed by the Kanzler on the 13th of Sun’s Smile
Written by the Privy Seal on the 14th of Sun’s Smile
INTRODUCTION
As proposed by the Kanzler Franz von Schniepp to the Aulic Council the 13th of Sun’s Smile, the PICATORIS ACT OF 1486 has hereby been put into effect for the immediate demesne of the Konig, including the Grand Duchy of Vanderfell, and his immediate vassals. Changes made by this act shall be adjusted accordingly in the official Book of Law for the Kingdom of Aesterwald, inner hierarchies and structure shall be mended accordingly, and the list of duties and responsibilities for each Aulic Council member shall be changed accordingly. Any and all violations of this act that are not mended by the next month shall face punishment.
SEGMENTUM I.
Segmentum I shall address all changes made to the domestic Kingdom of Aesterwald, including (but not limited to): taxation, housing, roadways, waterways, or domestic/vassal expansion.
REGARDING THE CITY OF VANDERFELL

The northern housing area north of Vanderfell, including the former Silverthorne estate, shall be demolished immediately, in place for better space management and betterment of the royal capital.

The Blue Moon Inn, formerly owned by Daycia of Vanderfell, shall be transferred to new ownership directed by the Konig and Lord Steward. The new owner, as of the time of this act, shall be Dietrich von Rovin.

The free company known as ‘Kosher Company’ shall hereby be barred from all trade and business within the royal capital. Kosher Company is also demanded for their payment in letting multiple houses and stalls to enter disrepair and further for not paying the mandatory taxes passed by the Lord Kastellan years ago. However, Kosher Company shall be allowed to operate within other vassals of the Kingdom, unless continued disruptive behavior is exhibited.
REGARDING NORTHERN EXPANSION

The County of Ayr, owned by the fair Count Winter, shall hereby be given supplies in their construction of ports and crucial lumber mills to further the progress of the royal capital.

Dove’s Hill, immediate vassal of the House Bonehill, shall hereby be given supplies to rebuild and purify the now destroyed, desolated plateau.

The illegitimate County of Fi’Nor shall hereby be demolished and the landscape from which it stands shall be remade into a nature reserve.

All further expansion by the Duchy of Polaris shall hereby be regulated by the Aulic Council, with all expansion being approved by the council itself.

The river that makes up the southern border of the Konigreich von Aesterwald shall hereby be referred to as the Picatoris River in Waldenian geography.
REGARDING THE STATUS OF NOBILITY

He who is known in the Apostoliche Konigreich von Aesterwald as the ‘Fisher King’ is hereby recognized as a foreign sovereign but is granted the courtesy status as a Landless Noble.

REGARDING FOREIGN RELATIONS

The borders of the Kingdom of Aesterwall shall be further developed and defined, mainly by the Kanzler, to help stop border disputes with the Triarchy of Human Nations.

All relations with the signatory nations of the Sun’s Smile Treaty must be kept to an uptmost high, with main focus upon the war against Iblees.

Segmentum III shall address any and all changes made to the positions and duties of the Aulic Council members made by this act.
REGARDING THE KANZLER

The duties and powers of the Kanzler shall hereby be reworked and redone, with the following changes being listed here:
Powers of the Kanzler
The Kanzler is universal, able to control all aspects of the Kingdom’s foundation and running as he sees fit. The Kanzler shall be able to propose and pass acts to and from the Aulic Council, to organize all vassals and territories under the Apostolic Kingdom’s control, to banish all criminals and terrorists from the Waldenian soil, to revoke all noble titles for two months, to call for construction and management of the Kingdom’s resources, and lastly, to call to court any and all members of the Kingdom of Aesterwald.

As the poem foretells, it is a day where the Vanders of Aesterwald commune within the Duchy of Vanderfell. Upon this festive occasion they celebrate and feast until the arrival of the reverent Saint Tobias, he who aided the White Rose during the conflicts against the Dark Elfen and for this we give thanks to him as well as the Gifts he will bring upon the back of his trusted steed ‘Rudolph’ the red nosed Elk.
Thus, to celebrate this day the Vanders will hold a feastival within the Konigreich and in the city of Aesterwald where all are invited, except the Undead & Ruskans. Let it be known that this festivity will be held upon the final day of the Saint’s week along with the new year.

Affirmation of alliance with 'The Clerical Order'

As per the will of the Aulic Council & that of the Hochsouveran, the Konigreich, as per request of the Clerical Order, shall publicly recognize their alliance with 'The Clerical Order' and the terms of agreement between these two sovereign factions in the interests of eliminating the Northern threat of the Undead within the realm of Hanseti. The terms are as followed:
The Clerical Order unto Aesterwald:
- The Clerical Order shall aid Aesterwald in any attempts to quench the invasion of the Undead
- The Clerical Order shall provide services to Aesterwald which is provided by their gathering
Aesterwald unto The Clerical Order:
- Aesterwald shall provide a portion of its land for use by the Clerics, unhindered.
- Aesterwald shall allow their continuing reverence for Tahaerie as allowed by the 'Book of Horen' from the scriptures of the True Faith.
Let it be known that Aesterwald shall not take kindly upon threats to their newly established allies. All bandits who stand against these two nations shall face punishment administered by the state law.

The Raevir Exclusion Act
Whereas, in the opinion of the Apostoliche Konigreich of Aesterwald, the coming of Raevir refugees and laborers to this country endangers the good order of certain localities within the territory of the Konigreich of Aesterwald. Repeated offenses of banditry. especially the attempted assassination of Konig Arn Rovin, have caused this law to be established in haste retaliation.
THEREFORE,
Be it enacted by the Konig, Hochsoveriegn, and Aulic Council in the Eagle’s Nest assembled, that immediately, the coming of Raevir refugees and laborers to the Apostoliche Konigreich of Aesterwald be, and the same is hereby, suspended; and during such suspension it shall not be lawful for any human of Raevir culture to come, or to remain, within the Konigreich or its territories.
I. That the master of any vessel, or the leader of any group, who shall knowingly bring within the Konigreich on such vessel or group, and land or permit to be landed, and Raevir, from any foreign port of place, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred minas for each and every such Raevir so brought, and may be also imprisoned for a term not exceeding one year.
II. That the two foregoing sections shall not apply to Raevir who were in the Konigreich before the passage of this law.
III. That any person who shall knowingly and falsely alter or substitute any name for the name written in such certificate or forge any such certificate, or knowingly utter any forged or fraudulent certificate, or falsely personate any person named in any such certificate, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor; and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in a sum not exceeding one thousand minas, and imprisoned in a penitentiary for a term of not more than five years.
IV. That any person who shall knowingly bring into or cause to be brought into the Konigreich by land, or who shall knowingly aid or abet the same, or aid or abet the landing in the Konigreich from any vessel of any Raevir person not lawfully entitled to enter the Konigreich, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall, on conviction thereof, be fined in a sum not exceeding one thousand minas, and imprisoned for a term not exceeding one year.
V. Any Raevir person residing legally in the Konigreich of Aesterwald is liable for search and seizure at any time for any reason. Armour and weapons are to be confiscated.
VI. That hereafter no vassal court or court of the Konigreich shall admit Raevir people to citizenship; and all laws in conflict with this act are hereby repealed.
VII. That the words "Raevir", whenever used in this act, shall be construed to mean both skilled and unskilled laborers of Raevir culture and blood.

Preface
One might asks itself, 'What truly is Aesterwald?' or 'What is the reason for Aesterwald's existence?'. Although I myself should not even attempt to answer these broad questions in the length of this small introduction, I shall be the fool and try. Aesterwald is the idea of the unified North, the actual 'North' being the lands North of the Great River. Of course, this is nothing revolutionary, as the idea of a 'kingdom of the north' can be traced all the way back to Horen's eldest son, King Harren I. Regardless, that is, well, one of the many reasons, though I am sure the politics of such does not interest to mind. So, with multiple writers and editors, including myself, Prince Otto von Rovin, we write this novel in hopes of showing the citizenry what Aesterwald truly is, not in just the verbal sense, but the spiritual and ultimate fraternal bonding that binds Aesterwald into one of the most prosperous northern kingdoms since King Harren, son of Horen.
Now, this novelette contains a swath of information regarding government, economy, religion, and otherwise assortment of topics that any man may wish to know.

History of the Apostolic Kingdom of Aesterwald
The actual Apostolic Kingdom of Aesterwald has had a short history in the sense of the actual history of the world, being founded a near twenty years ago. However, this detailed history will not just cover those short years, but how the Apostolic Kingdom of Aesterwald came to be.
It all began during the end of the Reign of Emperor Siegmund Carrion, only emperor of the Second Empire. Jack von Rovin, later called Frederick, was approached by the current High Pontiff, Lucien II, a bastard of House de Varodyr. The Church itself had suffered greatly since the Exodus, most priests and holy men left to the shores of Aeldin which left the Mother Church defenseless and weak. Jack von Rovin, at the time, led a small band of warriors, made up mainly of northerners, to which were quite pious compared to the other bands serving Oren at the time. The High Pontiff saw this and asked Jack to create a new order that would protect the Church of outside threat and inside threat, a request that Jack von Rovin gladly agreed on.
And so, the infamous Order of Saint Lucien was created, with Jack von Rovin as its Grandmaster, the extremely young Voron von Rovin as his Grand Commander, and other faces such as the young Rosencrantz as its Grand Prior, the easterner Raigeki as its Knight Commander, and the adunian Rymeul as its Grand Chancellor. The Order would fight in numerous wars, including the War of the Golden Lance, the Second Great War, and the Rusko-Lucienist War. Humanity, with the combined might of the Order of Saint Lucien and King Heinrik’s own men, such as the Order of the Decterum and countless levies, was beginning to finally regain its foothold amongst the races.
However, not everything good will last. Tensions between the Raevir fanatics and the men of the Order of Saint Lucien reached a breaking point, leading to multiple minor skirmishes and raids on both sides. The actual war itself ended the Battle of Savoie Fields, which led to the decisive victory for the men of the Order of Saint Lucien. However, it did not stop there. King Heinrik, a few months after the Battle of Savoie Fields, died in battle against the Dwarven forces, leaving Oren without an heir.
But, just as the carrion crows are, a Carrion cousin came to claim the throne from across the sea. Franz Joseph Carrion was a figure not liked by the current High Pontiff, High Pontiff Regulus, to which he refused to coronate him, as Franz was known for cowardice and greed. Franz, wanting to solidify his corrupting hold upon the realm of man, dressed a lowly priest as the High Pontiff in order to have him coronated. Order men from the Order of Saint Lucien stood in the crowd, seeing such a horrendous sight, a clear sign of hate and disrespect against the Holy Father. Led by the Grandmaster Jack von Rovin and Ser Rymeul, the small muster of men demanded that the false Pontiff be taken into custody and that Franz answer for his crimes.
Men are sinners, of course, so Franz denied this and the men of the Order of Saint Lucien attacked. The false Pontiff was killed in the fight by the men of the Order of Saint Lucien but had to retreat, as with the overwhelming forces in the Carrion Keep. Franz, instead of apologising and seeking peace for his sins, crowned an Anti-Pontiff to dishonor the Holy Father and the faithful. Some men under the rule of Franz saw the sin of his ways, including the leader of the Decterum, Ser Aildred of House Ruthern. With the combined forces of Grandmaster Jack von Rovin and Marshall Aildred of the Decterum, they led an attack upon the Carrion keep, executing the sinful Franz and his debauchery of a council. However, the force was not able to take the Carrion’s last stronghold, Mount Augustus, and led to the eventual resurgence of House Carrion years later.
With the Carrions deposed, a vision of the Exalted Emperor Godfrey appeared from the heavens, prophesying the return of a new Emperor, Peter of Chivay. And so, the men of the old White Rose returned upon the shores of their homeland, including the King of Kaedrin, King Peter Chivay, his nephew Robert Chivay, and countless knights and Marked men. The Order of Saint Lucien, along with other rebels against the rule of the Carrions, swore their swords to the new Emperor of Mankind, leading to the Third Empire of Mankind.
As mentioned that Mount Augustus was not taken, the Carrion worm soon infested itself within the Sparrow Dynasty. The hypocritical Father Vasily convinced Robert to remove the High Pontiff and declare church under state. The Order of Saint Lucien, thanks to the Decree of Disbandment, was disbanded and the men splintered apart. Many of the order men stayed loyal to Jack von Rovin and his son, Voron von Rovin. Voron, with many of the Order of Saint Lucien, joined and formed the backbone of the short-lived Imperial Army.
Voron, however, grew wary of the Imperial Army, as talks of betrayal soon reached his ears. As his time in the army was over, he was granted land north of the Great River, forming the Markgraf of Vanderfell, a border county of the Third Empire. The rumors that Voron were true, as the Imperial Army betrayed Emperor Robert and overthrew House of Chivay, placing House Carrion back on the throne. Jack von Rovin left to Vanderfell, telling Voron of this great betrayal. After much talk with father and son, it was decided. Vanderfell would not stay with the Carrion-ruled Empire.
And so, with the Archbishop crowning Jack von Rovin ‘King of the Vanders’, Jack took up the name King Frederick I, the first king of Aesterwald.
Three years passed, Aesterwald growing to obtain the entire north, with the Polarians swearing under the King Jack von Rovin. With the assistance of Faiz of Kharadeen, alliances formed between the many nations of Athera. However, the Emperor Tobias Carrion sat upon a hungry throne, wanting to reclaim Aesterwald which has remained independent since the Carrion’s retaking of the throne. Emperor Tobias sent an ultimatum, to which King Jack von Rovin refused outright.
War began, to which Aesterwald and the Empire led into a bloodless struggle. No battle was fought between the two nations, for this war was merely fought in pen and paper. King Frederick, a year into the war, died of poisoning, to which his son Voron ascended to the throne. Voron was not war-supporting like his father, for Voron was a more intrigued minded man of Waldenia. He took to private meeting with Tobias, and signed a pact to agree to swear underneath the Empire, a move which angered many men of Aesterwald and would cause unrest for years to come.
It would take five years for the other lords of the Empire to realize why Aesterwald did not wish to be under the crow. When Maric of Renatus raised his banners in rebellion against Emperor Tobias, Aesterwald took the side of the rebels to dismantle the Empire.
And so, at the decisive victory at Angren, the rebels won, with the crows retreating back to Petrus to lick their wounds.

The Konigreich of Aesterwald follows the Imperial Codex of the Creator’s Church. However, through texts that have been translated to Marian rather than Flexio. Nonetheless, the state `who arose from the former Order of Saint Lucien is loyal to its roots and entrusts themselves in the papacy.
Religious Tolerance
Unlike the remainder of the Empire of Oren the Konigreich has a peculiar tolerance to heretics and houses various persons within their realm who are devout followers of Clericism. Although they will not tolerate open worship of any differing faiths within their cities but will allow private worship.

Military of the Kingdom
Being one of the major powers of the human nations, Aesterwald requires itself a standing military to defend itself from the outside threats of Iblees, Carrions, or worse. Founded weeks before the death of King Frederick von Rovin and elaborated during the short reign of King Voron von Rovin, the Order of the Black Eagle, or called the Königreich's Streitkräfte in the tongue of High Marian, stands as the protectors of the Northern Realm of Aesterwald.
The Order of the Black Eagle is led by the incorruptible Lord Constable, or called Lord Wachtmeister in the tongue of High Marian, who leads the men of the Aesterwald through thick and thin, reaching the all amounted glory and victory in the name of Aesterwald and their King.

Aulic Council
The KING-IN-COUNCIL is the current reigning monarch of the Apostolic Kingdom of Aesterwald. Originating from the loins of King Jack von Rovin, also called King Frederick I, the King's word is law.
The current KING OF AESTERWALD is His Majesty, High Lord on the Eagle's Perch, Arn of House Rovin.
The HIGH SOVEREIGN of Aesterwald was created to rule the Kingdom during Arn of Rovin’s illness. Chosen by the King himself, the HIGH SOVEREIGN acts as though he is the King’s will, thus making all legal and noble decisions of the realm.
The current HIGH SOVEREIGN is Ser Rosencrantz of House Revandir.
The LORD CONSTABLE, also called LORD WACHTMEISTER in the Marian tongue, is the chief marshal and military mind of the Kingdom of Aesterwald. He is the word of law during times of war and the ultimate police during peace.
The current LORD WACHTMEISTER is Ser Rosencrantz of House Revandir.
The HIGH EMISSARY, traditionally called the LORD KANZLER, is the face of peace and trade. The LORD KANZLER brokers treaties and alliances with the nations and states of Athera, maintaining peace and equilibrium.
The current LORD KANZLER is Otto von Schniepp.
The LORD KASTELLAN manages the formal estates of the King and the overall realm under the banner of the Black Eagle. He or she serves as Burgher (Maer) of the capital city, instructed to create Vanderfell into a true, royal city.
The current LORD KASTELLAN is Rilkor von Niwarsay.
The LORD KORREKTOR of Aesterwald overlooks all noble and royal affairs, keeping in check the powers of nobility and peasantry. It is also tasked in the management of the Kingdom’s merchant class, ensuring economical freedom in the realm.
The current LORD KORREKTOR is Ser Edward II. of House Winter.
The PAPAL LEGATE, chosen from priests of the Archbishopric of Aesterwald, is the chief religious and spiritual advisor to the King. He maintains unity with the Church of the Canon, entrusted to enforce its teaching to minimize the spreading of heresy.
The current PAPAL LEGATE is Bishop Rellin of Vanderfell.

Warning of Eviction: Tax Evasion Brought to Justice

As per the expectations of the Konigreich, all citizens within the realm of the Grand Duchy of Vanderfell, who are subject to taxation, must pay their dues to fund the prestigious Order of the Black Eagle, the state military.
However. Some citizenry have expressed a consistent trend of failing to pay their tribute towards the Konigreich, namely for 4 years.
Thus, upon this 4th year the Apostlistic Konigreich of Aesterwald requests that all citizenry pay their forgone duty or face eviction from their current homestead within the city. All payment must be done in true coinage, the Mina, within the next Three Saint Days (Saturday - Monday) and failure to fulfill this request will result in the aforementioned.

Konig Arn of Rovin and Hochsouveran Rosencrantz of Revandir jointly decree that,
in response to the requests and pleas of the people of Aesterwald and other foreign dignitaries
whom bless our lands with brotherhood, an open court shall be established for the first day of every Saint's week.
During this open court, either the Konig or the Hochsouveran shall be present in the throne room of the Eagle's Nest, the castle in Vanderfell and seat of the Konigreich. Any concern may be brought to the attention of either man present. It is also advisable that privy councilmen are present to share their views on the various opinions held by the people of the realm.

Upon the snow capped mountains of the Northern province sits an imposing but eye-appealing citadel. The walls seem to protrude from the ground, as if they were spawned by God. The roofs of the many towers and buildings are curved at sharp angles, as if to cut through the ice that nests above. Guards stand watch across the walls, while life goes on in the sprawling city below. It is as if these people do not fight the cold, but embrace it as their essence of life.
This is Vanderfell, the capitol of the Duchy of Vanders,
seat of the Apostoliche Kingdom of Aesterwald.
Upon entry into the city, there is a discreet path that winds up the largest of the many mountains that grace the area. A winding and elevating path, it takes the breath out of those unaccustomed to the climate. Through two gates comes a vast courtyard. In the middle lays a small, ancient lake. Flanking one side of the area is the Keep of the Winters, courtiers to the Konigreich. Looking to the left, a vast staircase leads visitors eyes to a grand sight. An open gate draws all life into it, as if it were looking to preserve it from the chilly restraints of the exterior.
This is the Eagle's Nest, home to the monarchs of Aesterwald

Entering the gate, your eyes follow a tri-colored rug to the base of two joined stone seats. On either side are tables with names etched into the front. Large balconies flank them, and a strong scent of frankincense is left burning. Upon the seat to the left is an aging man, though his skin is lively and appears as if it were oiled. The man to his left is a very young man, no older than thirty. He wears a crown, but seems very inexperienced. Thick Waldenian accents come from the duo as they address a commoner.
It appears as if is now your turn to speak. The Hochsouveran and Konig invite you forward to the base of the rug nearest to them.

Renewing Oaths to Aesterwald
By Law, the death of the late König Voron Rovin I has nullified any bonds and invalidated any oaths once held in his name, and in the name of the Königreich. It is required of all Knights and Noble Houses, that to maintain their positions in the Realm, they must reaffirm their oaths to the new König, Arn Rovin I.
On the Subject of Knighthood,
Whether knighted under the Order of the Black Eagle or Voron I, all Knights must travel to the keep known as Eagle’s Nest and bend the knee to the König Arn Rovin. They must pledge their swords and their lives to our new king and therefore have their titles legally replenished. Should a Knight be unavailable for this, he may discuss it with the Hochsouvern Rosencrantz Revandir. Should there be lack of communication for an entire Saint's Week, the result would be found in the loss of Knighthood.
On the Subject of Nobility,
Formerly recognized Lords of the Noble Houses of Aesterwald must also come to Eagle’s Nest in which they will reaffirm their oaths to the newly crowned König. In the event that the Noble Lord is unable to profess their oaths publicly before the crown, they may communicate within the next Saint’s Week detailing such. Failure to do so will result in the House’s Noble state to revert to an unrecognized state.
On the Subject of Aulic Councilmen,
All members on the Aulic Council are too encouraged to pledge themselves to König Arn I, and to Aesterwald once more. They must kneel before the throne and present their oaths publicly to the König, or to the Hochsouvern. This may be furtherly discussed, should complications be evident. But, if no communication has been established within a Saint’s Week, said Councilman might find themself removed from the Aulic Council.

-The Primitive Rule of the Reichmann-
I. On The Speaking of Words
When in the presence of an ally, all Enlisted and Knights are to behave with kindness no matter the ill words spoken to them in accords to what the Vander’s code says “To refrain from the wanton giving of offence”. Reichmann are not required to speak true on personal quarrels when asked upon unless if state security is involved.
II. On the Dress of the Reichmann
In order to provide a sense of pride and representation as persons of the Force all individuals serving the Königreich's Streitkräfte are expected to bear their banner’s colors in linen or wool unless deemed otherwise by the acting Draper.
A familiar issue to the Order is a sense of self identity amongst Enlisted, and Knights. Therefore the Königreich has deemed it fit to allow each person one accessory they may bear that does not possess any form of appearance which may warp the Force’s perception.
III.On Seniority of the Force
In the Order, a direct chain-of-command shall be established to prevent the usurpation of power from a more capable commander by a more popular commander. If a commander of higher standing appears, he is to take charge immediately. No orders are to be given by any other without the say of the senior. If it does happen that one takes command for himself, he and those that followed him shall be punished, either through lashings, demerit, blacklistment, or through the ancient rite of decimation.
The command shall go as follows:
A.) The Lord Constable
The Grandmaster has absolute command of the Force in all cases. His word is rule.
B.) The Senior Knights
The Senior Knights are the enactors of the Constable's Will and are second-in-line in seniority.
C.) The Knights
The Knights are the high officers of the Force and are naturally third-in-line in seniority.
D.) The Most Senior Enlisted
If no one else is present, the Kamerads are to be commanded by the highest clerical or military presence present.
IV. On Blackmarking
Blackmarking is the old rite of stripping an oathed Reichmann of their rights and rank by putting them beneath those who have just taken oath into the Order. Blackmarking is seen as a last attempt for an Enlisted or Knight to save themselves and their name before being removed from the Order. The Blackmarked have no rights, no honor, and no name. They are to be referred to as Blackmarked. If needed to specify, they will be named by their appearance or race.
Knights, the officers and idols of the Order, are to remain in the favor of the König or Wachtmeister. To fall far from their graces will result in Blackmarking without the ability to regain rank.
Blackmarking is to be seen as the greatest disgrace, to which only death in the Lord Creator’s Light can heal.
V. On Faults
Faults are simply actions that are committed by Reichmann that are in the wrong and are punishable, either through mental or physical labor. This can include anything from copying books to being whipped in public. Faults generally exist under the cardinal vices:

Faults can also be more specific. For example, harboring the condemned is a fault. If a great number of faults are committed, a Reichmann will be sought out for Blackmarking, or might be removed from the Force entirely.
Force Armament
The Order realizes the tactical and practical advantages of a wide arsenal of weapons, and take notes from many different cultures and societies. This makes them a dangerous force.
-Small Arms-
Waldenian Zweihänder
The Adunian Claymore is a giant sword capable of destroying any foe. Used without a shield, the Claymore is used with two hands. If it does not cut through armour, the sheer trauma of being hit by it is enough to stagger a man.
Waldenian Warhammer
The Waldenian Warhammer is a fairly bulky weapon of significant weight reserved for the slaying of undead or heavily armored opponents. With a blunt face on one half of the head and a piercing crow’s beak on the other, this weapon serves effectively in the hands of the Revandir family.
Salvian Spatha
The Salvian Spatha, originally used by the Salvus Shields, is a short sword. Rather than being used for infantry, the Order uses it for cavalry. It is long enough for perfect reach from a mounted soldier to hit a ground target.
Kaedreni Longsword
The Kaedreni Longsword is the primary weapon of the Reichmann. Long, blunt, and nasty, this sword is mobile and bulky, causing nasty wounds to the receiver.
Kaedreni Arbalest
The Kaedreni Arbalest is easily the most feared weapon of the foes of the Order of Saint Lucien. Originally used by the Force of the White Rose, the Kaedreni Arbalest pierces through armour like butter. Slow to reload, it is used as a one-shot weapon before being discarded for a sword. It is infamous to Elves and is the chosen weapon against heretics and for checkpoints.
-Siege Weapons-
The Order has an extensive history as masters of siege weaponry. Jack Rovin, a former member of the infamous White Rose, took his knowledge as an artilleryman in Squad Three and implemented it as soon as he could. In doing this, he continues an old tradition.
Hansetian Ballista
From the great white north, the Hansetian Ballista is used. Developed by the Teutonic siege engineers, it was widely used by their Hochmeister Mirtok DeNurem and made a great presence at the original Siege of the Dreadfort. It is designed for accurate, long-range fire at personnel, fortifications, and ships.
Kaedreni Onager
The Order of the White Rose developed this weapon early in their reign. It is effective as a small catapult and works slowly against weaker fortifications at short distances. It is capable of flinging hot pots of oil and basic explosives at enemy positions.
Waldenian Trebuchet
The Waldenian Trebuchet is an example of a tradition of artillery warfare. Large, intimidating, and powerful, the Waldenian Trebuchet is capable of great damage to all fortifications and at long distances.
Waldenian Catapult
The Waldenian Catapult is simply a more advanced version of the Kaedreni Onager, working at longer range distances and with more power.

The elders and veterans that figurehead the Force, the ones who have been elevated to the highest form of honour the Kingdom of Aesterwald can offer. Whether they be field commanders or stay within the confines of the Eagle’s Perch, the High Authority is the law and order of the Order.
Lord Constable (Wachtmeister)
Currently held by the elder Lord Rosencrantz Revandir, the Lord Constable is the Grandmaster Emeritus of the Force and ultimate figure, of power, of the Order besides the König himself. He is addressed as ‘Lord Constable’ or ‘Wachtmeister’.
Senior Knight (Ritter-älter) of Aesterwald
The battle-hardened knights who have shown loyalty and competence to have entered the personal fold of the Constable’s High Authority. Senior Knights carry out the Constable’s will and command with the rest of the Order, being his eyes and ears when the Constable himself is unable to attend. There is usually only two Senior Knights, though exceptions can be made at times. Senior Knights are addressed as ‘Great Ser’.

Knight (Ritter) of Aesterwald
The officers and idols of the Force, Knights are the men who carry the Order upon their backs. A Knight is truly a fearless warrior, and secure on every side, for his soul is protected by the armor of faith, just as his body is protected by the armor of steel. He is thus doubly-armed, and need fear neither demons nor men. Knights are to be addressed as 'Ser'.
Squire (Knappe)
The young lordings and nobles who train under the watchful eye of a Knight of Aesterwald. From polishing armor, practicing their arm in dueling, or writing prayers and stories, squires are under the complete guidance of his Knight. The typical age of a squire is between ten years to seventeen years, with few exceptions. Squires are to be addressed as 'Squire'.

Sergeant (Feldwebel)
Those who have proven their blood and worth in the eyes of their Kamerad and superiors shall enter the fold of the Sergeants, the still- youthful warriors who have shined brightly compared to their peers. Sergeant is also the first stepping stone in climbing the hierarchical ladder of the Order. They are to be addressed as 'Kamerad' or 'Sergeant'.
Infantry (Fußtruppe)
Oathed under the Black Eagle, Infantry are the warriors of the Order who shall bleed and be victorious for their fatherland. Oathed Enlisted are trusted enough to wear the Yellow and Black Cross upon their chest and bosom. They are to be addressed as 'Kamerad'.

Conservator (Konservator)
Blacksmithes and artisans, the Conservators are the master of supplies and materials that circulate the mass of the Order. Conservators create the mass intricate webs of supply lines and help keep the Order away from shortages of food, water, weapons, armor, and other assortment of materials. The rank is commonly held by Sergeants and above.
Disciplinary (Zuchtmeister)
Drilling the Enlisted and Knights is crucial in keeping the chains of the Order intact from gluttony and sloth, and it is the Disciplinaries who guarantee this. Disciplinaries carry the iconic whip, barred and bloodied from the countless Kamerads brought into compliance. The ranks is commonly held by Sergeant and above.
Eaglet Regiment
The Eaglet Regiment is for the Recruits of the main Army. It is currently led by Raomir Silverblade.
Sergeant of the Eaglets (Feldwebel of the Eaglets)
The Sergeant of the Eaglet’s is in charge of the new recruits. He is to make sure they have quarter’s and their uniforms. In addition he is to monitor them and is the one who decides when it is their time to advance the ranks and join the main Army.
Corporal (Korporal)
Corporals assist the Sergeant of the Eaglet Regiment in maintaining and training the force. They are in charge of recruiting and teaching the new one’s the ropes of warfare and life in the North.
Recruit (Rekrut)
The virgin-blooded, those who may become the next leaders of the Force first show themselves in the mass of the Recruits. They are to be addressed as 'Recruit', 'Initiate', or 'Eaglet'.

It has not been without lengthy discussion that the terms which united ourselves as a nation of various and unique peoples have been redrawn and redressed. For what right we have accomplished in the world as a united digilance for the purpose of preserving the goodwill of Humanity, there must naturally come a time where our focus must be shifted elsewhere in the conservation of our moral obligations and to further the fight against those evils of the world that manifest the destruction of the worldly order.
Henceforth, to preserve the goodwill of Humanity, its moral obligations, especially in fighting those worldly foes of the Sunless Sanctum, on the orders of His Imperial Majesty, Philip Frederick Horen, Emperor of the Holy Orenian Empire, the Company of the Westerlands and its associated peerage have been henceforth released of their vows to the service and protection of God, Humanity, and the Empire.
