    Flyers are posted in turn.

"The last followers of Philip II, heretofore hidden in shame at the conduct of the lecherous monster who gave them patronage and entitled them to nobility, have finally gathered the courage - emboldened by vicious gossip - to expose their treason against the Emperor.

Know that these courtiers' relationship to the Empire is that of the son caught en flagrante with the household maid. They may make their squandering rationalizations; they may libel others at random, in vain attempts to escape their own blame; they may speak of wild phantasms, unbelievable plots, and vicious intrigues; but their words are not to be heeded. Remember that a child caught out in misbehavior will say anything to spare himself the rod. Know that it is necessary to chasten lying children, from time to time, for their moral progress.

Know that if you follow Philip II "the Fiddler" still, you will follow him into the grave. Our Empire will no longer stand idly by as it is betrayed by those who call it home, nor will it bow to the likes of upstart Kings and heathen hosts. You are offered a singular choice now - to give up what is ill-gotten, and join your Imperial brothers and sisters in peace and progress, or perish namelessly in the annals of history."

An old man goes around, city to city; as he sees the fliers, he paints a picture of the late Prince Philip Aurelian on them, who had done no wrong. He ends the picture by dipping his hand in red paint and planting it on the image of the late Prince.

Request for an Investigation into Treason Committed by Philip III of the House Novellen

    To Whom it May Concern,

I call upon loyal Orenians to demand a formal investigation into potential treason committed by the current Emperor of Oren, Phillip III of the house Novellen. This year has been hectic with Oren's war with Urguan, the death of the late Emperor, Phillip II, and his heir-apparent, Prince Philip Aurelian. Now, Oren is on the verge of creating a schism in the Church and starting a second front with the Kingdom of Haense. And suddenly, Oren's longtime enemy, the Savoyards, are "friendly" with Oren. Out of nowhere.

This is all too convenient, and as a result I request a call to action in order to investigate the following crimes he may have committed

    1. Plotting to usurp the throne of Oren and the title of Emperor.

    2. Orchestrating the murder of Philip II and his heir-apparent, Prince Philip Aurelian.

    3. Instigating raids on Oren.

    4. Instigating a coup with the backing of the Kingdom of Savoy.

    5. Plotting to install an anti-pope loyal to himself and Savoy.

    6. High Treason against the Empire.

    7. Creating unnecessary conflict with Hanseti.

I make these claims not off-handedly, or even in love of Oren, but for Prince Philip Aurelian, whom I loved dearly. I request clarity and an enlightenment into these terrible events which have been brushed aside. Any loyal citizen of Oren who loved the former heir should want the same. Should Phillip III be suspected of ANY of these crimes, he should be brought to trial on grounds of High Treason.

    Sincerely,

    A Loyal Street Sweeper

  3. Raid cap should be raised, and the timer should be raised as well. I would say make it eight and make the raid timer seven days. Two days is too short, I think. Raids should be a threat, but they shouldn't occur frequently enough to be predictable. Orcs raid Wood elf area every two days, and at times I don't even want to log in anymore. I don't want dealing with orcs to be the focus of my roleplay. I get that that's their thing, but the time interval is so short.

  4. I am looking for someone who would build skins from these for me. I can pay 1,500 minas for each. I will be using them eventually, so I want them to be good quality. On the second picture, I would like the blonde fellow on the right.

  5. I wanted to make this because my post on the warclaim was removed.

Why can't the Dwarves agree to the conquest with the ooc agreement that Dwarves get to remain in the capital and use it? That is, they would be taken over in roleplay, but they retain their roleplay hub and get to keep managing it as they please, with some minor exceptions by the conquering party. Dwarves would also get to keep their soulstone thingy. It seems more sensible that they be allowed to do so as they are trying so hard! Humans would also have to deal with the constant threat of rebellion and Dwarves ready to conquer them should the Humans ever decline (Boltons).

On the point about the mountain, I believe it is rply difficult to scale a mountain of that size with an entire army. I don't think that is a good idea.

On the point about the tnt, it should be used in moderation but not denied as it is an item in the craftbook (Maybe moderated). I don't feel like it is fair to outright deny it! Tnt can be fun, especially on the defending side because you can set up tnt traps.

  6. There is a singer everyone has heard,

    Loud, a mid-summer and a mid-wood bird,

Who makes the solid tree trunks sound again.

He says that leaves are old and that for flowers

Mid-summer is to spring as one to ten.

He says the early petal-fall is past

When pear and cherry bloom went down in showers

    On sunny days a moment overcast;

And comes that other fall we name the fall.

He says the highway dust is over all.

The bird would cease and be as other birds

But that he knows in singing not to sing.

The question that he frames in all but words

Is what to make of a diminished thing.

  7. Out-Of-Character Information

Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication!

What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: Shambleau

    How old are you?: 21

Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes

Have you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): No

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: The one where structures that defy physics is not allowed. That would ruin immersion and look bad on the server!

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): Nope

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? A friend told me about it.

    Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is portraying a character or persona. A roleplayer acts in scene, like a play, and attempts to immerse oneself into the world. Good roleplay will avoid most out of character and try to block out the 3rd person (That is like, out of character chatting and doing stuff only based on knowledge of stuff). In a lot of ways, it is like acting out a play, but roleplay takes it a step further because it is spontaneous. It also requires a lot of trust that players won't abuse out of character knowledge.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is deliberately doing something based on out of character knowledge, usually for gain and profit. You may correct me on this, but I believe in some cases it is okay! Let me explain before you get in a huff: Sometimes you may metagame to get to a location, such as someone's house, if it will take too long or will be impossible to find otherwise. For example, if my friend on skype says he is having a party...I want to go to that party! Perhaps I can assume that my character would get an invitation, but I think minor metagaming is okay if it makes roleplay. Blatant, hurtful metagaming such as using player nameplates to find someone who is hiding, underground, or in a building is clearly bad because that is impossible knowledge that clearly hurts others.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is basically making your character godly or trying to avoid consequences and death. An example of this is catching someone's weapon while they are trying to strike you. I feel like players should attempt to do something instead of emoting it, such as, "Shambleau thrusts her sword forward; the tip points toward Bob's wrist in an attempt to disarm him." Like that. Don't force nonsense on others!

    In-Character Information

    Character’s name: Aeda

    Character’s gender: Female

    Character’s race: Dwarf

Character’s age: 23 (I don't understand the race age system yet. Not sure if that is good or bad age. I.e. Elves may live for a long time and 23 is super long)

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Aeda is a young Dwarf woman whose parents were miners. They also served in the Dwarf Kingdom's army and were frequently out on campaign which left her alone mostly. She would spend her youth farming and tending to goats. On warm days, she would lay out by the riverbed and chew sprigs of wheat while enjoying the rare warmth. On colder days, she would huddle up near the hearth and hear stories from the clan elders. She especially enjoyed these days, as the elders were frequently drunk and their conversation was good to ignore the cold.

After she was of age, she decided to trek off from her parent's homestead to live in the city of Urguan. There, she worked as a farmer's apprentice and sold wheat at low prices. She would spend the money on lessons, frequently trying to improve her skills and become more accomplished as a peasant, brewing, farming and breeding. While she has no excessive traits or skills to be proud of,  she has no glaring flaws either.

Personality Traits: Aeda is generally happy-go-lucky, though a bit dim. She is stubborn, and she does not care for sardonic wit or "fancy-speak."

Ambitions: Wants to own a rabbit

Strengths/Talents: Aeda is a strong peasant who can farm and sustain herself. She is also good in the levy.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Aeda does not have an education, so she can't speak out of situations.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Short, muscle, ginger-looking.

Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here):

I am going to edit the skin some. There are not a lot of Dwarf female skins, I think.
