  1. The Hauptmann, Betzler, thrusted his sword first through the knee, then going to turn in a swift move to decapitate the fleeing insurgent - He'd then look onto the battlefield, his aide Stahlherz, slaying yet another of these scoundrels. A smile appeared on the Hauptmann's face, a proud one at that. He cleaned his sword on the back of the corpse of the bandit he had taken down, he then sheathed his sword, calmly walking through the open field, corpses of the insurgents had piled up, flies crowding over the bloodbath. He quickly Saluted his Oberhauptmann, Liamme, then he kept going on his walk, crows had already started to gather, on the trees and around the bushes, watching the battle come to an end. The Hauptmann then turned to his subordinates, gesturing for them to follow as he smiled pleasantly "Yet a nozher defensive victory, zhey never learn eh, meine soldaten?" he said in a joking manner, a small cheer and laughter raising from the men that then followed him towards the fort, smiles on their faces as they went to eat their pumpkin pies.

  2. Would get back to his newly furnished room, he sat on his seat, left dirty, bloodied sword by his aide. The man would then go to take off his gauntlets, taking off his ruff from around his neck. ”Ah, its a gut day to be alive, sunny, no rain, clear skies. Und zhe roads clear of threats, our contractor shall be happy to hear about these. Zhese bandits had been attacking Kaedrin, now leave zheir corpses on our doorstep” He then went to put his feet in water.

  3. 7 hours ago, Trenchist said:

“Ah, yes.” Succinctly noted Tomas Bernt Fitzgerald Esq, aide-de-camp and business attorney, in his newly tailored livery. Beside him stood Martin, his protruding belly fortunately bulwarked by a dark tinted steel plate. “Betzler!” Barked the Commandant, shooting his hand obliquely. Captain Johannes Betzler, who came at his side a moment after, had been dealing with callow conscripts and dilettantes who were still rehearsing over which side of the spear pricks, and hearing the Commandant yell was the last thing he had wanted. “Tell zhe men to start rolling zhe camps. We move out tomorrow noon. Zhe contract ist signed und now in effect.” With a crisp salute, the Captain-- “Oh. Und de Reden will brief joo on zhe new plans. We are nicht simply moving zhe camp, nein. Zhis time, we erect a fort, und have a soft bed at long last.” From the Captain escaped a sigh of relief. It’s about time.

“Oh, and.. Captain Bletzer-.. Uhm, Betzler.” Tomas interjected, cleared his throat, and continued, “Do seek a cook. A real one, this time. We’ll have a permanent table.”

The Captain nodded his head, turned 180 degrees on his heel and moved away in the motion of a professional soldier’s march. His serious face turned into a smile of relief after he had reflected once more on what the Kommandant had said to him, the ideas of a soft bed and a permanent table had long been wandering in his head for quite some time and it had finally come true.

He went back infront of the newly conscripts and battle hardened soldiers, lined them up and saluted them, a smile on his face, a rather unique sight for the soldiery to see from their serious Captain Betzler.
“It is time, we leave zhis place und move to eine nozher” he said calmly. The Captain took a deep breath as he pasued, looking at the faces of his men one by one. he then continued “Yet zhis time, wir shall stay zhere, it shall be our neu home!” he said with a loud tone of voice. The soldiery looked amongst eachother, some didnt know how to emotionally respond as they’ve been wandering the snowy terrains and rocky mountains for long, they almost forgot what a cussion felt like. Captain Betzler raised his voice and shouted “Dismissed” and the men were cheering at the news the captain had brought them. They all scurried back to their tents and started the rpocess of leaving the campground.

Captain Betzler then made his way back to his tent, his aide one Corporal Joseph Stahlhertz had been waiting for him, he saluted him upon his return, the captain returned the salute. “Joo heard vas I’ve announced, ja?” the corporal smiled the sun’s smile and nodded. “Vell zhen, lets get to vork shall wir?” he smiled as he then helped his comrades tidy up the camp spot, retrieving the tents and loading them onto carriages. They were setting out to a new and brighter future for the Heussenstandarte Kompanie...

  6. I have a feeling that this will drop most the banditry rp off the roads, which is (in my opinion) not good, because y’know, do bandits need a reason? I dont think so, they earn their pay that way because they know how to do THAT and not something else, or perhaps earn more by banditing than doing farmwork? It is ofcourse good for banditry to drop but I think the drop needs to be influenced by the armies of nations and them protecting the roads, not some rules. Yes I know some banditry roleplay such as ‘minas or die’ is pretty bad and boring and doesnt contribute to character development, but to be honest, it would be too hard for bandits to find a way to effect ones character developement (or atleast I can think of a way that they can). Just my opinion tho, idk if anyone would care ?

  7. The Waldenian boy read the letter with his finger following, still not entirely sure how he got the letter... ’’Didnt he have eine lover?’’ The boy thought to himself ’’He zeems to habe forgotten her perhaps, his eyes shaded by zhe blood on his hand und his betreyal to his freunds und family, ja?’’  The boy asked as he turned to the grown ups that stood by his side, as they nodded at him in silence...
