  1. Somewhere deep in Helena, a infamous Adunian mob boss with ties to the Josephite Cartel allowed a smirk to cross his cadaverous visage. The tall blonde haired Adunian would lift a cigar, made from the finest of tobacco he could steal and wrapped with freshly minted Imperial Marks. “I would be worried, aye that I would. But this Helvets lad, why by GOD he must be the most pompous arse I have met yet.”  He mused before taking a long drag from the cigar. “Now what was I doing again? Ahh yes.” He said turning back to count the weekly take, the matter forgotten like so many wasted letters on his desk.

  3. Padraig O’Rourke’s chest swelled with pride as he read over the letter, taking a moment the lanky Adunian gripped the paper in his calloused gnarled hands. A tear formed in the Adunian’s dark green eyes as he thought back to when he too first arrived during the Adunian Immigration to Kaedrin, a scowl formed across his face as he thought back to the signs that the wretched dogs The Pruvias and the Dubois had put up ”No Adunian need apply indeed.” A smirk soon replaced the scowl as he saw not just one Adunian, but three in the Imperial Cabinet. Their day had finally come.

  4. A lone figure stood overlooking Helena from the Ghost City Of Tor Eldar. His pale eyes seemed to stare unfocused at the teeming city of man as he processed the information. The death of a dear friend, a sister of battle and even worse the death of a child. The figure almost unseen in foggy mist of the forest took a deep breath and brought a fist to his chest in salute, the resounding crash caused two doves to fly off from the woods and with that the mists surrounded the figure as he faded back into the gloom. What would remain on the doorsteps of the Swint Cabin was a Mirrored Bastard Sword and a battered helmet, its black finish worn and chipped. For the first time in many years as he drew further into the wood, Sepp felt true sadness.

  5. Padraig O’Rourke reads over the document from his Helena Office and he nodded to himself as he dipped his quill into the recess of the stone headstone that served as the tabletop of  his desk. With a flourish of his hand, he side the article.

    Signed Padraig O’Rourke

  6. Despite shooting down most of the birds that seemed to flock to his Kaedreni Hunting Lodge, Padriag Padrick Seamus Kelly Michel David Donovan Tyrone William Patrick Sean Pious O’Rourke scowled as some of the letters would make their way to his desk. The tall Adunian would stand walking to his roaring fire over which roasted the assortment of crows, ravens, eagles, and hawks that his colleagues had sent out and he threw the letters into the flames. A week later letters would arrive bearing the Rose and Bowie of Padraig O’Rourke.

    TAL, with regards P.P.S.K.M.D.D.T.W.P.S.P.O”

  7. Padraig read over the article a bushy brow raised. “Fecking Hell.” He muttered cutting off the end of a cigar with his Bowie knife. With that he sent a letter to George. “I pray for George and his young family and I know they will do well in the world. Maybe I can even get the lad to embrace his heritage now.” He chuckled “But good going lads.”

  10. In Kaedrin boisterous laughs resounded from the Tavern as a group of Adunians and Kaedreni were read the message by the town crier. Padraig O’Rourke looked to his Cousins with a look of bemusement. “Oi Donnie boy do ye know w’at ah just can’t figure? How de feck do ye gut ah Horen from ah wee little halfin and ah big ole lizard?” He paused before he elbowed Jonah Elendil and his face with split by a tobacco stained grin. ”T’ree pint of stout and ah big feckin stool!” He roared with drunken laughter

Lucien Arkin would sit upon the root of the Ashwood Tree shaking his head, “Who’s gonna tell these lads that the dwed’s are better in metalworking than any human”

Back in the mines the Adunian would pause sensing somehow, some Ker or Dwed across the world heard his words. “‘Ow in de feck?” He muttered before returning to work.

  12. Deep in the mines of Kaedrin, scores of soot stained Adunian and Kaedreni miners work day and night to feed the Imperial War Machine. When asked in passing why the Imperial’s needed more steel a burly Adunian would laugh his blackened face bisected by a yellowed smile. “Cause dem A’llaince lads steel ain’t for shite, but dis ‘ere be gud Kaedreni Iron. Maybe dem langer new fangled ‘Horens’ wull gut ah taste of it un day. If dey show.” The miners would laugh and another would cry out “Oi lads ah didn’t ‘now being fecked up de arse by sum little mogger halflin could make a child, even less a ‘Horen’.” The mine was filled with laughs as they returned to work sing ‘Men of Oren’.

    THIRD MAYORAL ELECTION OF OWYNSBURG

    Attention all citizens of Kaedrin,

The term of the Municipal Government of Padraig O’Rourke, 1770-1774, has ended before its official end due to current Mayor Padraig O’Rourke stepping down and allowing a newcomer to take his place in serving as Mayor of Owynsburg. The shoes that Mayor Padraig O’Rourke has left behind will be hard to fill as during his tenure, he led a revitalizing effort to aid the ailing economy of the city, with acts such as the Miners Act of 1772, which reopened the old Ves Mines and the Housing Act of 1771 which made living in Kaedrin affordable. Mayor O’Rourke wishes to see what the next generation of Kaedrin Politicians can do for Kaedrin. Therefor in tandem as his last act as Mayor and his first act as Minister of Labor, Padraig O’Rourke calls the Third Mayoral Election of Owynsburg! (OOC: Registration shall run until Tues at 5pm EST, followed by a voting period from 5:30 EST Tues- 5:30 EST Wednesday.)

    ELECTION SLOGAN:

  15.          I am never too proud to admit when I am wrong nor am I too stubborn to apologize. And that is what I must do here. To the Bren family, at large I humbly apologize for any undo scandal and slander that has arisen from this unseemly affair. Through the actions of others, allegations and slander rained heavily upon them and I am to shoulder the blame for this, as I did nothing to dissuade these troubling remarks about a family as steep in honor as the Brens. Those that have spoken out of turn and that have spewed such vile rhetoric have been chastised and admonished by my own hand and any that continue to do so are no friends of mine.

To Edmund Bren, my honorable opponent and the Mayor of Kaedrin that all future Mayors must rise to match the bar he set; I first wish to extend my deepest thanks, from my sister I have heard of your stalwart defense of her and Kaedrin at large from bandit attacks. Without your aid I shudder to imagine what may have befallen her. For that I wish to give unto you a stallion as a token of my appreciation for your heroics. Secondly I wish to convey my deepest apologies for the slander and scandal that so plague the election and its direct aftermath. Things had been said and done that unjustifiably undermined your honor, this fault lies firmly on my own shoulders and with that in regard I humbly ask for your forgiveness in that matter. As a means of compensation a sum of 7000 Imperial Marks will be delivered unto Mr. Edmund Bren.

    Sincerely,

     Padriag Patricio.

    A Dream for Kaedrin

    Written by Padraig O’Rourke

Published by the O’Rourke Printing Press

    My fellow Kaedrini,

I have a hope, a hope for our beautiful Commonwealth, a hope of a prosperous Kaedrin, of a harmous Kaedrin, a Kaedrin free from those that seek to defile our sacred Commonwealth.

I will not make promises of work to come or extoll work that I have done for the Commonwealth, nor will I plead with you to vote for I. Instead I encourage my fellow Kaedrini to look into both of the candidates and pick the best for our Commonwealth and our People. Pick the candidate who will respect the sanctity of our institutions and work for you. Listen to our words at the debate and make your own informed decision. Furthermore do not let party politics be a factor in your vote, vote for a man based on his own character, not on the character of the party he claims.

I will leave you with this thought to ponder, should Kaedrin not be for its People?

    Your Humble Servant,

    Padraig “Paddy” O’Rourke
