  1. Parmer's mask-muffled shouts echo throughout the caves of Urguan. "Come one, come all! Be first in line for this new, Haelun'or tested cure! With a single injection—" she flourishes a shiny, sharp needle— "Khorvad-19 is knocked out in a minute! It gets in the lungs, does a tremendous number on the lungs." She shakes her head sadly, and sets a glass jar on the ground. "Alas, this disinfectant is in limited stock. But another cure is being tested by the Silver City's best researchers: by bringing light into the body, through the skin or in some other way, we can kill the plague in an elven second! Donate minas!"

  2. I might be coming back for the next map, but my previous forum posts are intensely embarrassing, and there's no delete function, so I'm formally disowning ALL of my past content! This seems like a good solution to a problem I'm sure many old players face. Oh, and I also disown my characters and roleplay. Now introducing: Shoalstone.

  3. [!] Flyers soar the skies of Atlas, carried on wind, seemingly cast from high mountaintops. They land about randomly; on rooftops, in the forge fires of blacksmiths, impaled on stones... even far south, where their edges are crispy white. They say this: "I'm looking for a teacher of Air Evocation. I have quite specific motivations that I'd be happy to divulge over bird. You may know me as the Quen man. This is somewhat connected. ~Azureth"

  4. [!] Flyers are scattered all over Atlas. They're nailed to the walls of random houses, sunken to the bottoms of fountains, and found blowing freely in the wind like tumbleweeds.

"Quen is a deckbuilding strategy card game. You can find cards and players here!"

    [!] A map is scribbled frantically on the flyer. (( X 1157, Z -1711))

  5. I suggest adding a cheaper substance that only breaks if you sprint or ride a horse. Llamas are a hassle, but I enjoy the routes, and I'd be willing to earn less profit for a nicer trip. I'm not sure if others will agree with me: one problem is that roadside bandits won't know you're carrying the stuff. But maybe they'd just /search everyone who walks, or maybe carrying the items puts a particle effect on you.

strongly recommend this, though. I'd love it, personally, and it would be far more immersive.

    please thanks, azureth

  6. Einhart crosses his arms while reading a poster nailed to a building's wall.

"Frost witches, huh...? Never heard of 'em, but they sound... egregious? That a good word?"

He fills out the application, pausing every so often to consider his choices in life.

    IGN: Azureth

    Persona name: Einhart

    Race: Human

    Age: 20

Where you hold residence: I don't have a home. Where I hold residence is with my hands, of course; why would I hold a residence with anything else?

  7. Notes have been left in several locations throughout Vailor, held to wooden structures by a dagger.

"I am Vulaver Evarindor, and I'd like to either purchase a building or be given one for use as a restaurant.
I and my partner Opertunity will be serving delicious food and good drinks very often ((We'll be active)).

We would prefer a location in a populated city, obviously. It'd also be fine to have an independent structure just outside of one.

If possible, access to a small farm outside the building would be nice.
Most of these requests probably can't be filled, but I'll put them out there anyway.
At the very least, we'd like a small building to do business out of.
Send a bird if you have anything that is along these lines.

Also, I am a mali'aheral and Opertunity is a ((filthy)) Valah. That could be important."

  8. Out-Of-Character Information

Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication!

What’s your Minecraft account name?: Azureth

    How old are you?: 14

Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yeah

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Hostile or toxic behaviour will not be tolerated.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): Nope.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I used to play on the server. I decided to begin again with a fresh start.

Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable):

    Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial  of your application!

What is roleplaying?: When you roleplay, you create a character with an identity of their own. You pretend to be that character by doing what they would instead of what you would.

What is metagaming?: To metagame is to utilize knowledge that your character wouldn't normally have. An example of metagaming would be discovering a raider's location through a Skype chat room.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power-emoting, or more commonly, powergaming, is either performing actions that would never be possible for your character or taking control of another character's actions or responses. Say Edgyassassinwhogrewuponthestreetsafterparentsdiedincarcrash69 wishes to stab his opponent, Superstrongwarriorwhotrainedonaholymountainfor1000000years. He types, "Edgyassassin quickly thrusts his dagger into Superstrong's side. Superstrong dies after twitching around on the floor for several hours." This is powergaming. Let's fix that, shall we? "Edgyassassin stabs his dagger at Superstrong, clearly aiming for his side."

    In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

    Character’s name: Azureth Warwind

    Character’s sex: Male

    Character’s race: Human (Heartlander)

    Character’s age: 22

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): Azureth was born and raised in the wilderness far from any major cities. His parents were the odd ones out of the Heartlanders. While most of his kind resided in populated areas, he did not. Some children might have grew up to be rugged outdoorsmen with this kind of life, but Azureth didn't want to. He wanted to move to a large city and become something uncommon. Special, but not strange.

Eventually, problems arose amongst Azureth's family. They got into fights more often. His father broke his leg, so Azureth had to do all of the work, even though he was only twelve. His mother wanted to help him so badly, but she could not; she had to take care of Azureth's father. One day, disaster struck. Dear mother loved her flower garden, and it showed. Her hard work made it so beautiful, and so... deadly. See, she didn't know anything about the flowers she was planting. What harm could a flower do? Burn the house down?

Yeah, that's exactly what it could do. She planted a fire flower in the garden, and as one would expect, it burnt the family's home to the ground. That night was the worst Azureth would ever know. He was able to save his parents. They would not perish in an accident and leave him to grow up on the streets, becoming a master assassin. Still, it was a terrible incident. Both of his parents would acquire burns so serious that their faces were barely recognizable. Serpent's stalk would do about as much as a knife to steel.

They soldiered on. The group made their way to civilization. In such a tough situation, the family's aforementioned problems died instantly. It was a harsh journey, and they barely hung on to life during the trip. It's not like a twelve year old could hunt on his own. At the city they arrived in, Azureth's mother worked as a simple saleswoman, barely making enough money to scrape by. As he grew older, Azureth couldn't find anything he wanted to do. He was twenty years old and still fed by his parents' work. He simply packed up and left. Azureth had to find a purpose.

Personality Traits: Azureth is down to earth and level-headed. When he is motivated to do something, he will put all of his time and effort into it. Sadly, there isn't much he actually wants to do. He doesn't judge anyone just by word of mouth; Azureth must first meet someone before he decides on his opinion of them. He dislikes ignorance and values knowledge. In fact, a job he'd considered was being a librarian. Azureth wishes he were a wise sage, and sometimes tries to act as one.

Ambitions: Azureth's main ambition is to discover his ambition. He simply can't find anything he wants to do. There must be something in that huge world that interests him.

Strengths/Talents: Azureth is good at breaking up conflicts, and looks to do that wherever he can. He may appear tough, but he's actually a sweetheart inside. His years of work as a kid really helped with his strength.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Azureth has never been in a real fight, and doesn't know how to wield a weapon. He is socially awkward with people he doesn't know.

Appearance: Azureth is six feet tall. He prefers to dress formally, and owns multiple copies of the exact same shirt and pants. He has decently long jet black hair and crimson eyes. Azureth is not overweight, but he certainly isn't skinny.

    Skin: Please see attached file.
