John “The Savant '' although his brain bears many wrinkles, and holds much wisdom is only capable of so much on his lonesome. Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Ologs are a subrace of the Orcish culture. They are in size much larger than orcs however as a drawback they are extremely intellectually inferior. Heights ranging from 8'10-10ft and weights ranging from 400 lbs to 920 lbs. Culturally they usually just adapt to fit in too Orcish society being to stupid to create cities of there own. Encampments of Ologs usually just being a collection of shacks. Going along with this while an Olog could theoretically survive on its own but due to its intelligence and animalistic nature itll usually end up becoming complacent and dependant on another as long as its basic needs can be met, food, shelter, etc. There descendant curse being much the same as the orcs, with also a simmilar aging span of being able to live to five hundred but most dying at around a hundred due to constant warfare.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look? 

Gushnub would 8'11 feet tall, with red eyes and dark leathery skin. Two small nub tusks poking out of his mouth and weighing about 570 lbs. An extremely muscley creature dressed in scraps of leather, a loin cloth, and what would appear to be torn sacks around his ankles.

ARCHIE MARENO VERSUS EARNEST ENDYRL 

16th of the Amber’s Cold, 136 SA

Brawm’s BBQ and Beer tavern is proud to have released another great bout, between Archie the Adrian and Earnest Endyrl!

Today once more have we held a great battle, for the Brawm Brawl Barbequeumania™, Though not as exciting as our last, we at Brawm’s Barbeque and Beer have learned wise lessons!

 Representing, well nobody quite knew: the stammering yet strong, weak yet honorable, Earnest Endyrl holding nothing but his fists! His blackened skin, and pointy ears a clear indication of his ancestry, his procession in the pit called for snickers and jeers from the crowd!

And his opponent, acting on behalf of Adrian pride worldwide: a spoiled yet strong, bearded and brave, the noble of the name Archie Mareno! We’ve heard from our sources, this noble man is in some way affiliated with the infamous Ferrymen! His presence in the pit, rallied cheers and chants for his fight!

However, best for last, our surprise fighter, acting on behalf of Krugmar and the crowd: the Targoth nobchoppa ‘eadsplitta, an avatar of war, his presence commanded a choreography of death in the pit! The massive gray uruk, with a muscular frame pulsating of raw strength beneath his leathery skin, a testament to the power of all Uruk-kind!

The battle began slowly and boringly; the two fighters were readied in place, and it began with a charge from Endyrl the Earnest! Archie the Adrian traded blows with the kerr’, neither side faltering; it continued for a good hour or so, one could even see the cactus pit grow to full size! The crowd thinned and thinned as the two traded blows, when out of nowhere an axe blew into the pit by the side of Endyrl, though honorable, the fighter ignored it! The crowd became nothing but a thin breeze as the battle proceeded, before the massive uruk Nobchoppa ‘eadsplitta walked into the tavern, changing everything, many heads turned and gawked at his arrival! He drew two massive swords as let out a shattering war cry, before jumping into the frey!

 In quick maneuver did he revive the crowd, thrusting his sword into the abdomen of the elf, before then chopping his arm clean off! The crowd roared in excitement, this kind of entertainment is only received here at Brawm’s BBQ & Beer.The uruk then turned targeting Archie, it picked the man up, constricting him until he fell unconscious! A true lover’s fate! Archie lay comatose, Endyrl dismembered, Eadchoppa stood atop, his hide stained red. The crowd, of many humans and elves, cheered for the carnage that had unfolded! Then and there he was deemed the victor, of Barbequeumania™

And there we go, another great battle fought, and many new lessons learned! Another champion has arisen in the pits, Eadchoppa ‘eadsplitta! Will the Adrians bring retribution to Archie by defeating the Targoth? Will Eadchoppa be able to handle the Black Beast Balrog? THE BLACK BEAST VERSUS CHICKEN 

15th of Sun’s Smile, 136 SA

Brawm’s BBQ and Beer tavern is proud to announce the first of many ring fights, ended in bombastic fashion! 

To the crowd I will describe our two opponents, brave pioneers of the weekly Brawm Brawl Barbequeumania™ who have dutifully set the tone for hundreds of future clashes!

Representing Dwedmar kind of all shape and size: the hulking, black mass Balrog Doomforged, wielding his equally monstrous blade! The unmatched dwarven quality of his weapon is no doubt indicative of his prowess in battle, and his fearsome growl sent chills down the spines of many in the crowd. 

And his opponent, acting on behalf of Norlandic pride everywhere: a lanky yet strong, cowardly yet unyielding warrior going by the name of Chicken! Our sources have informed us that this man is one of the more respectable specimens of Norland in terms of battle ability and strength, and yet his arms were remarkably underdeveloped - only 3 pebbles in length! One has to wonder what food crisis Norland must be facing to present warriors with such underdeveloped physiques. 

The commencement was quick and short, Chicken was thrown into the pit to face crowd favorite Balrog Doomforged.  The referee set the fighters in place as the crowd roared and released the gates! Many jeered as Balrog charged forward, tackling the Norlander into the corner. Chicken let out a flamboyant squeal as his organs were compressed on both sides. In quick response did Chicken disengage; showcasing his impeccable footwork he drew his sword and swung in one quick move. Balrog quickly side stepped, narrowly avoiding the blow. He retaliated with a quick slash, leaving a sizable gash in Chicken’s stomach! Pitying the lesser warrior, Balrog allowed Chicken to recompose himself momentarily. And yet, taking advantage of this kind gesture, the venomous Norlander let out a strange prayer to the sky gods. To the surprise of many in the crowd, this strange, guttural, cry seemed to slow down time all around them. Balrog, though, was unshaken and in quick succession was able to slice his pristine blade cleanly down Chicken’s neck, conquering both fiend and the ***** time dilation which seemed to grip the arena.

The bout had ended! Chicken lay dead, Balrog standing atop him with blood pulsating in his veins. The crowd, many dwarves, let out a mighty and victorious roar!

And there you have it folks, the first fight of many to come! An unforgettable night which saw the coronation of Brawm’s Barbeque & Beer first Pit Champion Balrog Doomforged! Will the Norlanders send forth a champion to defeat the Raw Black Beast Balrog? The infamous house Brawm have once more made their home in new lands, and established the great Brawm's BBQ & Beer! In great merriment do we open the tavern to the public here in Urguan, and to establish ourselves from the rest do we begin the great fighting tournament for all to behold! All who are brave enough to show their mettle, are welcome to enter regardless of affiliation! Those who dare to enter and fight must pay the prize pool fee of 15 minae!  It will be a winner's take all approach, the winner will receive the prize pool along with the Brawm prize of 500 minae! As well fighters will get half off on all drinks and barbequed meats, so take great advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity!

Major griefing and overall toxicity

What circumstances led to this ban?

I was banned for two reasons; toxicity and major griefing. First reason had to do with my toxicity. At the time I was dealing with a few frustrating things. Number one that I was tired of dealing with was getting my build pasted. I was coming the close of this process all I needed was for a CT to paste in my build, so I put up a ticket to do so. Laenothan picked it up and told me he was currently roleplaying and would be heading to sleep when he finished. Laenothan said that he would do the paste the following day. However of course I was a rush to get it passed so my group could have a place to roleplay I decided to argue instead. My first mistake I argued with him back and forth asking if he could just close the req so someone else could do it and why he would pick it up in the first place. He then logged off before I received a discord message saying for my actions I would have to no wait till over the weekend. Which I then immaturely responded to in a not so nice way that I thought he was having a power trip. I then messaged his manager telling him I thought this was mod abuse. Along with me telling his manager that I included that he should kill himself in the message to his manager. Me being frustrated is certainly in no way any kind of excuse for any of this of course. I feel bad for saying he should kill himself and arguing with him. He's doing me the favor but volunteering to work on the staff team and keep servers I love to keep running. In the future I won’t argue with staff just let it go and log off. The second infraction I was banned for was major griefing. The reason I was banned for this is because I whitelisted a new player to Norland’s(Elrith/Elennore’s) buildserver. They then proceeded to grief the server while I was offline. I had no idea this grief had taken place and was confused when my ban was updated. I messaged itdontmatta to no response and only found out recently why my ban was updated with it after talking to Elrith in voice chat. I have now since cleared it up with him

Are there aspects of the ban you agree and/or disagree with?

here was only one part of my ban that I disagreed with and it’s that I wasn’t told why I was banned for griefing. In all the other aspects of the ban I agree with it. I was acting out of line with the staff.

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

Ive seen alot of activity in my old community and I'd like to get involved and participate again because it made me feel very nostalgic. As Well as I’ve been feeling creative lately and have had a few characters I've wanted to try out.

What circumstances led to this ban?

The two reasons for my ban are two seperate incidents so I'll start with the first. The first incident having to do with the toxicity is at the time I was trying to get a build pasted in which was a long tedious process that had taken about a two weeks so far. So I had gotten the schematic uploaded by an admin now I had to get it pasted in so my req is picked up by Laenothan. He tells me that he can't do it tonight because hes about to log off. I ask him since hes about to log off if he could just please close the req. He says no he can't and we go back and forth for a couple minutes before he says hes logging of. At which point he unprompted messaged me on discord after logging off that because I asked him to close it he was putting it off till sunday. Which I got angry and out of turn and responded by telling him im not gonna suck his ****. Which all in all was immature and I shouldn't have done. Then I forget if I messaged his manager or if he messaged me or even who his manager was but I said just about this I believe; That I thought Laenothan putting me off was mod abusing and I thought it was uncool but specifically I said that guy should kys for that. Which at that point I assume the manager reported me to staff and I was banned for it. Which then a week later my ban was updated with Major griefing. At the time I was unsure why I dmd itdontmattas discord and he never responded with why I was given major griefing on my ban. However so many months later I tried to message the player Elrith or maybe its Elennore now I think eh changed his name. To my suprise I was blocked so I asked another player to middleman and ask him to unblock me. Described to me by another party I learned that he thought I had griefed his buildserver when in reality someone I had whitelisted to help with a build had griefed it. As to how this can be avoided, I believe I acted last time I was on the server better to the overall community I wasn't toxic in my comings and goings. I was only banned for toxicity in dealing with staff in my cringe way of not wanting someone to have power over me, I recognize now that its a volunteer force the server couldn't survive without and Im thankful that they do what they do. As for the griefing I apolgize thoroughly to Elrith for what happened I think he has forgiven me we've been talking about Norland and stuff again which what makes me want to come back, but I really did not intend for his build server to get griefed Ive known him for most of my time on the server.

The only aspect I disagree with was not being told why griefing had been added to my ban. Besides that I acted rudely and immaturely towards staff who do a service by volunteering to help keep the server running.

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

Recently I have been seeing alot of posts from my old community in the discord circles I still am in. Id like to return to the server so I could help the culture continue to develope and interact with it again as Ive become quite nolstalgic.

At the end of the day some nations should be city-states or forced into being city states by circumstance I dont think you should plan your server around making it baby mode for nations if you want things to by dynamic.

Another thing youve suggested that to me doesn't really seem to enhance roleplay. If all the hubs just whent straight to the capitols it would make it alot harder for smaller settlements to pick up activity. Aswell as it cuts down on dynamic roleplay as with fast travels nations don't actually have to have a presence on there borders, or any other road-side type events or interactions become nonexistant.

If you want a more dynamic server

-Way smaller map

-No fast travel

-Freebuild

-Localized auction houses where things sold in that auction house can only be bought in that auction house.
