Needle & Thread Tailoring CO.

The Needle and Tread Tailors are open for business in the main square of Sutica, adjacent to the Forge and Clinic. If you wish to commission an outfit from our shop, you must venture to Sutica and speak with either of the tailors for a fitting and design session. When you arrive, seek Vassago or Aerenna for an appointment.
Examples of our work shall be provided below for both your viewing and a reference for styles.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:
Dryads are wood elven women called to find trees, essentially. They hear a calling that varies in strength depending on their age, or how long they've been hearing it. A tree, no type specifically, calls out to them, urging them to find it and become one. Once the dryad and tree have bonded, the dryad will take on physical aspects of the tree. If this tree dies, if will regenerate only once, starting from a seedling. If a dryad disconnects from their tree, they will return to normal for the most part, an underlying sadness filling them for the rest of their life.

A Celebration of Sorts
Long foretold are the events of ages past, honouring the Aspects. We hereby invite you to such an event, hosted within the Dominion of Malin, in its jewel, Caras Eldar. This event shall remind us of our culture and religion, promoting Aspectism at its core.
Events
We invite you to participate in the Grand Hunt, pledged to the God of the Hunt, Cernunnos himself. All are welcome to enjoy the proceedings of this event, but if you are not physically capable or wish for something smaller to occupy your time, a fishing competition shall be held. The one with the biggest, and heaviest fish, shall receive a sum of a thousand minas, and shall be crowned King or Queen of the River. Fishing rods shall be provided, but in limited supply. If you wish to bring your own, you may do so as well.
Those partaking in the hunt are encouraged to bring their own weapons or items of value, whatever you think will aid you in the The Kill. A grand feast shall be held, with the prize of the Hunt centered, and hopefully, devoured. Each attending guest is heavily encouraged to bring some sort of food, whether it be something you’d killed or cultivated, so that none might go hungry during this joyous affair. Bring your finest, and expect to taste the finest!
Attire
Although the general attire for this event is whatever you’re able to find, the one must have is a mask. Whether you wish to channel your inner monster or play as a creature, you are welcome to creative freedom. Examples are provided below, if you’d like some inspiration. The best mask shall receive an award.
Activities
A competition based on speed shall also be held. Bring your own horse or travel on foot, you shall be tasked with finding three objects within the city with only a few clues. Each destination you arrive at shall have another clue for the next. The first to return with all three items shall be given a thousand minas, and a prize item.
Another contest shall be held, especially for Druids. The task shall be to grow a flower or flowering plant before our very eyes, those with the most creativity and flare shall receive a prize of a thousand minas. These flowers shall then be used to adorn the citizens of Caras Eldar, and a small parade shall commence. Feel free to give away flowers, throw petals in the air, and display your love for whatever or whomever it may be.

The event will be on Saturday, June 2nd at 3pm EST. Please let Bunemma/Aerenna know what animal you are attending as, just so I can let you know if anyone else has the same animal! I hope to see you all there ?

Missives are pinned around Atlas, mainly in taverns and small shops, should the owners be so kind.

Tailor’s Guild of Atlas
The Tailor’s Guild of Atlas is now recruiting!
If you’re somewhat good with a needle and thread, good at creating outfit concepts, or anything else we might find useful, come find us at the Needle and Thread Tailoring Co. in Sutica.
We pride ourselves with creating fine articles of clothing, suitable for all to wear!
We will provide ample workspace, as well as a storefront to sell your creations.
Guild Roster and Ranks
Master Tailor
These tailors have worked long and hard to hone their skills, creating some of the finest pieces in all of Atlas. They are able to take on apprentices, teaching them their skills and ways.

Tailor
Tailors have also worked hard, but not as long as master tailors. They are able to take on apprentices as well, guiding the new generations of tailors.

Apprentice
Apprentices have proven their skills with a needle and thread, earning them a spot with a tailor or master tailor. They are gradually improving and honing their skills, determined to create fine articles of clothing.
Recruit
Recruits have been indoctrinated into the guild, providing them with a place to work. They have yet to be taken on as an apprentice, and are taught the basics of creating and mending.

To be recruited, you must contact a master tailor either by bird or in person for an interview.
