What is roleplaying?: Performing the role of a character other than yourself without breaking out of the character. When you perform as this character, you are expected to completely immerse yourself in all the aspects of that character as if you were living their life.

What is metagaming?: Doing an action with the knowledge of player that the character doesn’t know. Since this is roleplaying, if your character doesn’t know it then you cannot use that knowledge without breaking character. If the player hears someone is being attacked but the character never heard about it, then the player cannot act upon it.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: The use of emote that affects another player and doesn’t allow a counter or defense. Power gaming makes an unbelievable action happen like a dwarf beating an elf in a race.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore):

A Kaedreni Highlander who lived in St. Karlsburg in the Kingdom of Haense until he was thrown into the Great Northern War to protect his family(mother and little sister). He took part in the battle of Elba which almost cost him his life but lost many of the companions he had gained through the war. He was able to escape the cavalry men sent after the fleeing soldiers and made his way back to Vasililand where he regrouped. A year later, the fortress became under siege with Ern trying to keep the last hope for Haense alive by defending the Western tower. But his efforts were in vain as the Western Tower fell and he was forced to surrender with everyone else.

He then decided to make his family’s life better by moving them to the outskirts of Rytsburg to work as farmer to bring in better income for his family. However he turned out to be a terrible farmer so he decided to sell the land and moved into the barony of Rytsburg and became a blacksmith. He has a hard time making ends meet but somehow finds a way no matter the circumstances. His military background helps him with smithing allowing him to make great products for his customers even if he has low recognition.

Personality Traits: honest, loyal, keeps to himself usually, hard worker because he loves smithing, has self doubt because of past failures, can be aggressive at times, can get easily mad, thinks things can be solved through force since he was part of the military

Ambitions: Currently his main goal is to provide for his struggling family. He wants to earn enough money to make their worries go away. He is willing to take on quests or hunts as a side job for more money.

Strengths/Talents: Smithing, good swordsman, military combat training,

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Farming, he sometimes doesn’t think things through, his aggression and temper might get him in a bad spot

A branch off descendant of the Kaedreni Chivay Family in South Asulon living in the Holy Empire of Oren where the Kingdom of Renatus used to reside. Ern Vidar is the son of two hunters who were killed by Gremlins in a deadly prank when Ern was 16. After this event Ern has to fend for himself in order to survive led on by the teachings of his parents before their deaths. He now hunts for a living like his parents but has a tendency to hunt gremlins whenever given a chance. His faith is the Church of the One True Faith but as the years have gone by he has started to hate the teachings of the One True Faith because of what happened to his parents.

He tends to work alone and usually only takes on a partner with special circumstances and believes that more people would just get in the way otherwise. The reason for him working alone is because he was betrayed by his first hunting group when he was 19 when they left him for dead after a Basilisk hunt fell through. Luckily surviving it by hiding in a hole too small for the Basilisk, he decided to go solo from now on. He now roams the wild looking hunts and Gremlins to kill. He makes his home where his family used to live and will interact with the other branches of his family if they have a lead on a hunt or Gremlins.

Personality Traits: He is aggressive and might walk into battle without considering the consequences. He is a loner that keeps to himself and has trouble trusting others.

Ambitions: His final goal is to eradicate as many gremlins as he possibly can while alive

Strengths/Talents: Good hunter and knows the way of the land. Can track stuff well. Knows weaknesses and strengths of prey

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Can be too aggressive sometimes. Will not stop when attacking gremlins no matter the cost. Not used to a team concept and has to directed to a role. 

Appearance: About 5'8" and 220 lbs. Wears white and black leather clothing. Black hair and blue eyes.
