What is roleplaying?: Performing the role of a character other than yourself without breaking out of the character. When you perform as this character, you are expected to completely immerse yourself in all the aspects of that character as if you were living their life.
What is metagaming?: Doing an action with the knowledge of player that the character doesn’t know. A Kaedreni Highlander who lived in St. Karlsburg in the Kingdom of Haense until he was thrown into the Great Northern War to protect his family(mother and little sister). He took part in the battle of Elba which almost cost him his life but lost many of the companions he had gained through the war. He was able to escape the cavalry men sent after the fleeing soldiers and made his way back to Vasililand where he regrouped. A year later, the fortress became under siege with Ern trying to keep the last hope for Haense alive by defending the Western tower. But his efforts were in vain as the Western Tower fell and he was forced to surrender with everyone else.
He then decided to make his family’s life better by moving them to the outskirts of Rytsburg to work as farmer to bring in better income for his family. However he turned out to be a terrible farmer so he decided to sell the land and moved into the barony of Rytsburg and became a blacksmith. He has a hard time making ends meet but somehow finds a way no matter the circumstances. His military background helps him with smithing allowing him to make great products for his customers even if he has low recognition.
Personality Traits: honest, loyal, keeps to himself usually, hard worker because he loves smithing, has self doubt because of past failures, can be aggressive at times, can get easily mad, thinks things can be solved through force since he was part of the military
Ambitions: Currently his main goal is to provide for his struggling family. He wants to earn enough money to make their worries go away. He is willing to take on quests or hunts as a side job for more money.
