Mossbeard would read this book thoroughly while sitting in his home, at the swampy grove. As a young druid dedicant looking for a companion he scratches his beard, eats some cranberries from it and wonders - "what would it take to earn a respect of such magnificent creature?"

After a short nap, he'd read the book again, this time concentrating to the Ligno species paragraph. "...earning the nickname "Flying bush".." Chuckles.
After another short nap, he decides to find the author and discuss the book, and the creatures with him.

What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is, when one will act out, fulfilling a specific role. For example - I want to come to this server, to assume a role of a dwarf, trying to build his own kingdom.

What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is, when using information, gotten out of roleplay, in roleplay. For example - when I am playing and my friend asks for my help through Skype. My character has no way of knowing, that my friend, who is on the other side of the map, is in trouble!

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Powergaming is, when a character does something he/she could not possibly do. For example - stop arrows by catching them with his/her teeth.

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)

Far in the east, hidden, underground, there was a goblin settlement. This was one of the separated settlements of the goblins, fully ruled by goblins. These goblins kept to themselves, hiding together underground. They built machines of war, sometimes raiding out from their wicked lair, bringing back loot, food and slaves. Slaves, whom they used to mine iron for their machines.

Among these slaves was a little dwarf boy. Not much is known about this dwarven boy, nothing about his fatherland or his name. The boy's mother died giving life to him and was devoured by hungry goblins. His fellow slaves called him Raur, cause he hissed and growled, roared even to goblins. If you think, that the dwarf boy had a chance to even grow out his beard, before he was given a pick to mine iron, you are wrong. Raur had to work, or die. Luckily he had his fellow slaves to help him and raise him. They were his family, gave him food, protected him from whip lashes and one even died for him. The man was called Maxwell Unstone, he was a stolen slave. Like a father to the boy he was, they shared a cell and he often filled the daily job requirement for Raur, although one daily requirement was hard enough for a full-grown man. 
One day an opportunity arised - an opportunity for Raur to escape. It had been 40 years, since the boy was born, and he was a beardling now. On that day, Maxwell, now old man in his 70s, saw an empty barrel. All the slaves knew, that the river, which flew through the underground settlement lead outside of the cave. So the idea was for Raur to jump into the barrel and ride out of there, out to freedom. But a distraction was needed, and Maxwell started the first uprising of the slaves. Since the food was few even for goblins, to start the uprising was simple due to the already ruling dissatisfaction and anger towards their goblin masters. But the rebels were all hungry and weak - the uprising was bent down, back to the iron mines, Maxwell Unstone was eaten by the goblins, for an example of punishment .Raur was left to slavery for another 50 years. He never forget that day, nor did hi forget Maxwell. For him, the only thing left was  his hatred towards goblins. He swore to free the slaves and when he will be free, no one, who he cares for, will have the same fate as Maxwell!

Raur would have died in that cave, if it wasn't for the second uprising of the slaves, 50 years later. On that day, a fire was started, fire which spread throughout the settlement. All the wooden bridges caught fire, like matches. The cave was filled with smoke, which burned the eyes. In the middle of that blazing hell, Raur began the uprising. "Fight now, or die in this wretched cave!" he yelled to his old friends, rallying them to took up arms. They used their old pickaxes, stones, burning logs, their fists and teeth even. The slaves bited and kicked and punched and fought their way to ever-so-dreampt-about freedom... No one knew about the battle, which was sprung underground. If one could call it a battle at all, rather it was a mutually ensured destruction. Raur and some other handful of slave survivors chased the now escaping goblins. The goblins fled outside of the cave, the dwarf and his friends right behind them, slaughtering every goblin, who got in their way. When they finally got outside, it was night. And then, unimaginable awe followed - The dwarf saw first time in his life the starry sky of the night. Everything stood still, and there was a brief moment of peace and happiness for the dwarf.
After the night of his escape, he roamed the land, took some mining jobs here and smithing jobs there, looking for a place to call home. He knew, that the only way for him, to feel at home, is to build one himself. He dreamed about building a mighty underground keep, where he and his brethren could be safe, safe from outside world.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Raur is a very peculiar dwarf, although he instinctively acts like a dwarf, he knows few about them and their culture. He only knows, what he wants - a mighty dwarven keep of his own! He is very loyal to his friends, but to become one, to win his trust, is not an easy task. He is also very brave, sometimes even stupidly brave. Raur has a short fuse, due to his time spent underground - he doesn't have any patience for any nonsense. He likes milk, beer and meat, he likes to mine and smith, he likes to live underground. But he fiercely hates goblins, also uruks and ologs. He hates all of them, all who even moderately resembles a goblin for him.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) His dream is to build a mighty underground cave dwarven keep, of his own. If he knows something well, it's mining, smithing and building - the activities, which he has done for whole his life.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Raur is good at mining (he knows and recognizes many minerals), he is good at basic smithing. He also knows the basics of engineering and building and one of his wishes is to study it, at the hands of an master. Or, if need be, to study on his own!

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Raur is afraid of spiders and bugs. His weakness is swimming and he has a phobia of deep sea. 

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) He is as tall as any of the dwarves. He does not have any scars besides the ones on his back, which are from beatings with a whip. The most peculiar thing is, that he has ginger orange hair, which is unusual for a cave dwarf. But as he has lived almost whole his life underground, he considers himself to be a cave dwarf.
