Felix Martin is a young adult, he’s spent his life on the farm, and is used to hard labor. His father died in early on in The War of the Two Emperors as a conscript, since he was the only other person who could tend the farm, he was spared from conscription. This, however, left him with the burden of keeping the farm well maintained on his own. During this time, he was forced to become proficient with a bow to keep him and his mother fed. His mother died recently of a sickness. This loss him deep and left him wondering if there was more to life than just being a farmer, now he dreams of becoming a part of something bigger.
