  3. The First Elections of the Fourth Grand Kingdom of Urguan

    It was a rowdy meeting on the 8th of The First Seed, 1773. It has been two Stone Days since Utak Ireheart his sudden departure and the Council was gathered. Voices were raised and tables smashed but the Council of Clans had come to a vote. The Sons and Daughters of Urguan have spoken and these have been nominated to run for the next Kingship;

    Clan Starbreaker: Jorvin Starbreaker

    Clan Grandaxe: - Abstained.
    Clan Irongrinder: - Abstained.

    Clan Ireheart: Charles “The Bald”

    Clan Goldhand: Dorimnur Goldhand
    Clan Irongut: Jorvin Starbreaker

    Clan Grimgold: - Abstained.

    Clans of Hefrumm: - Abstained.

    Clans who are not listed have failed to show up to the gathering and will thus not be taken into consideration. Their kinsmen may still vote on those nominated. There will be 4 Stone Days of campaigning where the candidates inform the people of why they should vote for them. Every faithful dwarf will then get a single vote. After the Voting-Period comes to an end I will personally count the votes and show them to the council for approval. I, Gimgrimmor Metalfist, will announce my removals, if any, and explain why. After which the new king will be elected and a coronation planned.

    OOC:

    You may not use alt accounts to push for more votes and may only vote once even if you have multiple characters.

    You must have been a citizen of Urguan for at least 2 Stone Weeks and have a minimal 4 hours of activity leading up to the Vote-Count to have your vote considered accepted. This will be checked.

    A vote may be changed up until the voting period is announced closed.

    All votes will be anonymous IRPly and one may NOT RP knowing any dwarf’s vote.

    After which the Voting Period will end and the counting will start so the new King can be announced on Wednesday - 24 / 06, 1 Stone Week after Grand King Utak Ireheart stepped down.

    If any vote would happen to be removed, I will personally show which vote has been removed + the reason for removal to the Council to avoid corruption.

    Lastly, the council will approve my counting to assure there is no cheating or foul-play.

    In case of being unable to vote via the forums one may contact me directly via Discord;
    Lt. Big M.#0111

    YOU CAN CONTINUE TO VOTE UP UNTIL TUESDAY - 23 / 06

    20:00 CEsT GMT +2

    2PM EST GMT -4

    18:00-6PM GMT

    Fill in the Voting Question in the comments.
    Feel free to write down all your characters and alt. accounts in case you play on multiple characters.

    Written on 9th of Snow’s Maiden, 1773

    Following the abdication of Utak Ireheart the Obsidian Throne lies cold and empty for the first time in forty five years. Owing to this, the Council of Urguan has seen fit to declare I, Gimgrimmor of Clan Metalfist, as regent to oversee the election of a new Grand King. With the Brathmordakin as my witness, this is a job I intend to uphold to the best of my ability. The Clan Council will convene later today, at which point each clan is to decide if they will or will not nominate a member of their kinsfolk for the office of King. Once the nominations are through, a 24 hour period will later be declared over which the public shall vote for their new king. Once the voting is done, I will count the votes myself, and ensure none are falsified.

  5. A KINGDOM RECROWNED, A NATION REBORN.

    Snow’s Maiden, 1767. The Dwedmar of Urguan made their way for the Throne Room within the peak of Kal’Evraal. Stoic Legionnaires stood guard over the waves of proud citizens as they awaited the King’s word. Drums echoed, sabatons stomped and arus were shouted. Grand King Utak Ireheart had made his decision.

    “Sons and Daughters of Urguan, hear the call of the deep! The Grand Kingdom of Urguan is once more! Once more the home for all dwed, once more the beacon of power. The wounds have healed, the clans have returned and the Longbeards have set their eyes to the surface. Shoulder to shoulder, shield to shield with axes high. We will not be paying but will invest into retaking what is rightfully ours. We will have our relics back.”

    The reformation of The Grand Kingdom of Urguan is official and the King has set a clear goal; The stolen relics of Dwedmar’s past will be reclaimed. Either they hand it over willingly or they will face the same fate as those who trespassed over The White Mountains. The fate of blood and iron. This will not be limited to our national relics, but extended over any and all clan relics. Anything related to Dwedmar’s past must be returned and everyone has the chance to hand them over peacefully.

    What we seek is the following;
    - The Crown of Urguan
    - The Helm of Urguan
    - The Chestplate of Urguan
    - The Greaves of Urguan
    - The Sabatons of Urguan

    - The Hammer of Urguan

  6. MC Name: DwarvenDaddy

    Character's Name: Braum / Orvel Grandaxe

    Character's Age:

    Character's Original Race (N/A if not applicable):

             Dwarf

    Transformed form:

             Golem

    Creator's MC Name:

             DrHope

    Creator's RP Name:

             Kazrin

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

    Golems are stone-made constructs which are animated by a core of either Thanhium or a captured soul. They are incredibly difficult to make, requiring atleast a single creator who posses the art of Golemmancy. At the head of the Golem stands their Impera, the ‘owner’ and commander to the Golem who decides what said Golem does and how it does it. They have to follow the ‘protocols’ that their Impera gives them.

    To create a Golem one must understand how their cores work. Golem cores have two main purposes; To power the Golem and to think for the Golem.
    These cores can be shaped differently by a golem anvil into different ‘pre-set behaviours’. These ‘behaviours’ are then used for different types of Golems. There are 5 primary cores types for 4 primary golem types.

    Normal Core: The base core for regular Golems which require no changes to the Golem’s body nor core.
    Command Core: The primary core to a ‘Multi-Core’ Golem setup. The core is altered to allow for interaction with Slave cores to command and receive information.
    Slave Core: The secondary core to a ‘Multi-Core’ Golem setup. A slave core grants its own cognitive capabilities over to a Command Core. It cannot perform on its own and solely works as a support to a Command-Core.
    Swift Core: Swift-Cores are made for sole use in a Swift-Golem setup. The core is changed to allow for higher cognitive capabilities whilst severely limiting the power that can be spend on moving the stone bodies. This results in a quicker-thinking, quicker-moving but smaller and thinner Golem.

    Brawn Core: Brawn cores are made for sole use in a Brawn-Golem Setup. They are incredibly large and terrifyingly strong but also mind bogglingly dumb. They lack almost all self-thinking capabilities and are to slow, both physically and mentally, for any form of combat.

    To describe in detail how Golem cores work and what they do would take to long so I will summarise it;

    - Golem cores obtain their intelligence and motor capacities from a very specific set of corebased runes.

    - Core runes obtain said information from the Golemmancer who creates the Golemcore.

    - The information is taken from the Golemmancer’s own “soul blueprint” upon the immediate completion of the “transcribing” rune.

    - The transcribing rune places the information on the “transcribed” rune before promptly burning out and destroying itself.

    - The golem references the information on the transcribed rune in order to figure out how to move its body, think, see, articulate speech, etc

    A Golem's body can only be made out of Stone or Wood, never made out of any Metals.
    The strength and size of the Golem changes per Core;
    Swift Golems can be a Maximum of 5ft with the Strength of a Dwarf.
    Brawn Golems can be a Maximum of 10ft with the Strength of two Ologs.
    ‘Normal’ Golems can be a Maximum of 8tf with the Strength of an Olog.
