Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

A cervitar is a half deer, half man creature. They were first discovered in the lands of Athera They have a tendency to be a “bit” mischievous and curious of other races. They also get a bit hostile if you disturb their territory. They are very close to nature, so close in fact that they can speak with nature. They also stay in groups called herds. Advantages to being a cervitar include: having the speed of a deer, they are highly intelligent, and they have the ability to communicate with nature. The disadvantages to being a cervitar include: Very few can exist at one time, the tree that they grow into when they die is susceptible to harm and if the tree is harmed before it bears fruit the line of that cervitar dies, they are mentally weak and susceptible to mind magics, and they are extremely weak to fire. Red lines: They are not centars, they can not be ridden, they do not live in cities, they will not be domesticated,and they also can not learn any magics besides the ability to communicate with nature.
