Born in the year 1,464, Dee'thrain was born into a military family in Anthos. His father trained him in the typical Dark Elf fashion, learning to fight with their blades. As Dee'thrain grew up his father taught him how to fire a bow as well, wishing for his son to join the regiment he served in when Dee'thrain came of age. High expectations drove Dee'thrain to become a perfectionist, devastated if he ever failed and pleased when things went his way. As events transpired, Dee'thrain and his family often moved around due to his father's military service. Though he missed his fellow family members, elders and close friends Dee'thrain grew accustomed to having to leave them. As he came into age, Dee'thrain joined his father's regiment and worked alongside him for close to 40 years. Those years changed his personality quite a bit, with constant fights with other races and people. Dee'thrain became more and more xenophobic, as his fellow Dark Elves were killed off in battles and what-have-you. During those 40 years as well, Dee'thrain's father had asked one of the Dark Elf smiths to craft his son one of their blades. After 10 years of making it, his father gifted it to Dee'thrain. A large, two-handed version was crafted for Dee'thrain. After Dee'thrain's military service was over, he became a mercenary wandering the world. Working with Dark Elves, Dwarves, and many other races his old xenophobic mindset has mostly gone away. During his travels he met a Dwarf smith who was available for hire, and as such Dee'thrain purchased a set of plate armor from this Dwarf. Since then he has moved to many different places, and met many different people. Raiding as a mercenary, and learning of new nations what what-have-you. Recently arriving in Atlas, Dee'thrain learned of how peaceful everything seemed and wished to change how things were in this realm. Dee'thrain made his way to Kaz'Ulrah, looking for chances to gain money, fame, and possible recruits for war and raiding.
