Juliya Maria Ludovar huffs with outrage as she scans her gaze across the note. “Fool. I’m sure my application was the best!” Scowling she begins to scribble something on the back of the note, quill trembling in her hand from fury. ”Well, I guess I’ll have to show them why I ought to be in their stupid band.”

[!] The application is written with flourishing, but messy cursive letters. It seems that the child who wrote this was an amateur at writing this way, with some of the letters being larger than others.

”How dreadfully, deliciously brutal.” A pale, slightly gaunt woman comments slyly, her lips curving upwards into a small smile. ”I shall attend this event... It will be quite interesting.”

Jon’s an all-around amazing player with his in-depth emotes and creative roleplaying.

Rosetta Puddifoot shifts from one foot to the other, her expression turning grim. ”Maybeh oi take meh leave now... Oi don’ ‘fink Dunshire’s t’eh place oi wan’ meh kids t’eh grow up in.”  The Halfling woman mutters, shaking her head and plodding away with a slouch in her posture. 

Rosetta Puddifoot tightens her grip on the now crumpled, and slightly dirty paper. Her nose wrinkles in disgust, while the expression on her face remains somewhat neutral and blank. ”Maybeh Dunshire ain’ ah safe place nay more fo’ meh teh raise meh fu’ure children in.”  The Halfling woman mutters to herself, suddenly looking aghast as she realizes something. ”Will oi ‘ave’a move somewheh else?”

Rosetta Puddifoot stares at the poster for a few hesitated moments, staying silent as she runs the paper through her fingers continuously.
Suddenly, it was if a lightbulb had appeared above her head, because she finally registered the words on the flier and hollered out with excitement: "T'is is gonna be grea'! Finalleh 'tha bigguns are doin' somefin' good!" 

A small, wax-engraved envelope addressed to  "Lady Alana of House Grimm", arrives at the Haensetian Palace doorstep. If one were to pick it up, they would find the paper-like material to have a glossy texture to it. Clearly, the sender coated it with some sort of wax to make the letter seem more appealing to both the eyes and hands.

Upon further investigation when opened, a letter appears inside. It reads:

"Lady Grimm,
Recently I have heard news of the vacancy in staff at the Haensetian Palace, and I must say I am intrigued by this opportunity on obtaining the position of a Palace Maid.  Of course, I do have a vast history with cleaning, due to maintaining my own house regularly and preserving its tip-top state. 

"Don' forget 'da candeh hunt where we go fro' burrow teh burrow askin' fo' some treatsies!" A Halfling lass triumphantly shouts at the board, obviously excited that her event was chosen.

Idea: 

Yeh know, maybeh loike a Fall Festival?

We could go around Dunshire 'n knock on 'da burrow doors teh ask fo' candeh!
