Rickard Northboot was born on the outskirts of Haense’s capital in 1655, his family living along its border. His homestead being in a small serfdom accompanied to harsh farmlands, his lifestyle would of been nothing but simple. Into his years of childhood he’d not know much outside of their little world, only his Father ever leaving to the capitals nearby such as Markev and Senntisten to sell their grain. Rickard loved his pa, having seen him as a pure example of what a true man was; Loving to his family, and a hard worker. Come each year as he gained more concept of life, it was his Father’s teachings that would really sit with him, showing the beauty of respectable masculinity. Turning into his early teenage years, Rickard was a roughened boy, having spent his morning days helping the fellow serfs work the fields. Through hard work, it straightened him to be a better person. The only real fault really was the town’s feelings for any non-highlander folk, the northern culture rendering them rather hateful to those of the Dominion Elves, Kaz’Ulrah Dwarves, etc. With time passing and Rickard growing to a young adult, it was time for the man to find a girl he could build his own life with - As he’d miss his own family, they understood as they once lived in that exact example. As he collected some coin from his work around the town, he prepared himself to leave. Come a hug and kiss, Rickard set off for the roads of Atlas to find love, to find purpose.
