Jveni D'Vull was born in Velunor to parents who had devoted their lives to the mastery of necromancy. While he never took interest in the darker side of magic practiced by his parents, he did attune well enough to clerical magics and set out to become a war cleric. But while on a trip to the borderlands of Krugmar with his family, they were attacked by a band of marauding orcs. Jveni and his family fought back the onslaught of orcs but both his mother and father fell in combat. Jveni watched helplessly as the hexes and wounds eventually took the life of his family members. On that day he vowed to learn healing magics.
