Hershal has been spending most of his life in Dunshire, following the stereotypical Dunshire "properness" values. He was born into a family of halflings living out in Sutica at a early age, but later on decided to move to Dunshire, often due to wanting to enrichen himself in the halfling values. Hershal plows the fields, tends to the animals, makes food, and praises the Pumpkin Lord Knox almost every single day without fault, yet one day something peculiar happened.. Hershal found himself in the fields, farming the same as he did everyother day.. When he SAW what appeared to be a biggin' attacking a young woman. Hershel did what any halfling of the time would do!... Run the hell away. Yep, he didnt even think twice, turned and walked away.. But now he always carries a nice solid iron shovel, juuust incase someone tries messing with him.
