Echoed a crowned elfess seated at Numendil's throne, the hall empty besides her and a serpent.

She missed her husband, and prayed the world had been kinder in her absence...

She would never know if those prayers had been answered, but when her eyes met those of the man she loved and cherished from childhood till death, she knew.

    "...Mein Liebling?"

An elven woman's gaze drifted beyond to the never-ending ocean view.

A clawed finger trailing around the rim of a teacup, dull expression similar to the others.

"Do you hate them yet, boy?"

    -

"They despise you, they always will, until their dying breaths."

    -

"They lie worse than we do; claiming they once cared... at least we don't offer such pity."

    She rose then, swaying to the kitchen with her daughter. Raising the young girl to sit on the counter as she offered the kettle, the wise words of;

    "Careful,"

offered as she watched the child refill the cup...

I'm genuinely so grateful to have played the brother of such an iconic character, every roleplay encounter I've had with you was always greater than the last. It's almost crazy to think we've been playing them for a year now.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Animatii Crafting

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Animati is an additional alchemical feat in which constructs are made of clockwork and alchemical machinery. A completely mundane understanding of the alchemical alphabet and basic mechanics. Constructs can be simple to complex, ranging from small miscellaneous inventions to full on vessels to house a soul.
The basic blueprint of an Automaton consists of a metal skeleton, gear heart, vessels serving as the “veins” for lifeblood, the lifeblood itself, various clockwork “organs”, optionally an obedience vessel. Lifeblood is an alchemical substance created for the function of the automaton, which is pumped throughout the vessels, or “veins” via the gearheart, essentially a robotic cardiovascular system. The other “organs”, or vessels, that may be installed in an automaton are the Intelligence, Visual, Voice and Audio modules; visual acting as the eyes, voice allowing the automaton to create noises or speak, and audio allowing them to hear. An automaton’s voice will always be crafted by the “Voice module” and will never be able to sound natural.

A combative situation involving an automaton may cause them to “overclock” their gearheart, similarly to a human receiving a rush of adrenaline. The state of overlocking starts over the course of two [2] emotes. Minor overclocking lasting for four [4] emotes while major overclocking can only last for two [2] emotes less the automaton risk death. While in this state, the automaton will find themselves with increased speed and force with the additional pumping of lifeblood. The automaton can risk severe damage to their “organs” with the additional pumping of lifeblood throughout their system during “overclocking”.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

There are five sectors to Animatii crafting

    Basic Prosthetics
This level (tier 1) includes prosthetics limbs such as arms, eyes, lungs, or various other prosthetics which do not require life-sustaining organs. They do not have their own abilities and rely entirely on the consciousness of the user. Prosthetics are not upgrades and are less capable than real limbs.
Within this tier an Animii crafter may also create a small non-sentient gadget, at most the size of an arm. I.E. a camper knifes.

    Small Creatures & Gadgets
This level (tier 2) includes creatures no larger than a backpack such as birds, cats, or sentient gadgets that can perform non-combative simple tasks.

    Large Creatures (pets only)
This level (tier 3) includes larger creatures no larger than a full-grown golden retriever and may only be kept as pets. They may be used in combative scenarios but are still vulnerable to injury.

    Non-Combat Non-Player Servants
This level (tier 4) includes creatures larger than those in tier [3]. I.E. a butler used to clean one's house or mounts the size of a horse. They follow standard rules for mounts and pets and therefore cannot be used to collect information (they cannot be used for metagaming).

Player-Controlled Animii (Automatons & Machine Spirits)
The final level (tier 5) is exclusively Animii controlled by players (CAs). Within this there are two versions of player-controlled Automatons, both which require a CA.
One where the automaton is created WITHOUT a soul and is played through an approved creature application.
One where the soul of a descendant enters the Animii vessel upon death and is played through an approved creature application.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

With measurements taken and the blueprint created, Freya clipped such against a lectern, rolling out the blueprints to reference as she sauntered around the lab to collect the tubing, gears, metal and a premade gearheart she’d made for the prosthetic.

Now that most of the materials were close by, she referenced the blueprints carefully while crafting the metal skeleton of the arm; having started with the interior. Fastening gears in place to mimic the movement of what was once lost, fastening them in place while testing the mobility carefully. Lastly, she set in place the gearheart in the shoulder cavity.

The mobility and strength was meticulously tested at the various joints of the metallic arm. Seemingly passing the test, the tinkerer moved on to focus on the leather tubing that would connect to pump the alchemical blood throughout the prosthetic.

Having followed the flow directions on the blueprints, the leather tubing was thread throughout the entirety of the prosthetic carefully, all connecting back to the gear-heart. Carefully, then, the tinkerer injected the gearheart with an adequate amount of Lifeblood so it could be pumped throughout.

Next testing the fluidity of the gears and greasing them up for adequate movement, Freya now moved to fasten the metal hull over the finished interior. Lastly fastening a panel over the gearheart to keep it safe and finish the chassis of the prosthetic. Finally, she held up the arm and with an approving nod of her work determined it worthy for her patient.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

“We will, today, go over the basics of Animatii crafting.” Began she, collecting a previously made gearheart and vial of lifeblood.  “The essentials of an Automaton are its gearheart, which is similar to a human’s heart, and in charge of pumping Lifeblood throughout the automaton or the prosthetic. Both are noted here,” Then, a blueprint roll was handed off to her student. “The gearheart should be mostly self-explanatory for its function, along with Lifeblood, but we’ll get into the creation of the two now. A gearheart resembles the anatomy of a descendants heart but is made from gears, redstone, piping et cetera, along with a gemstone- typically a diamond- to help jumpstart the energy it creates. The gearheart also is incharge of pumping Lifeblood throughout your desired Automaton creation. Now, Lifeblood is an alchemical substance that acts as the Automaton’s blood, clearly.. Certain sized automatons will require larger or smaller amounts of Lifeblood, so using half of the recipe or doubling it may be required.”

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

Unintended or not I’d point out what part, or parts, of the emote which is powergaming and elaborate why it is so. Should it continue then another warning and harsher point-out will be given. If neither of these approaches work, then I would confront the ST about it and/or request that student be removed from my TA.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Naztherak

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Naztherak, or becoming a “False Prince”, is a dark-deity magic in which a Prince’s power is derived from the Moz Strizoma, or “The High Hells”, and one of Five lords of the pentacle. A Prince may sacrifice some, or all, of their soul in order to gain additional infernal power as they progress. All Naztherak start with two [2] slots dedicated to the magic which provide them access to Malflame Manipulation and Demonology. Princes may dedicate more slots to progress their magics; such as pacting or cursing, which take one [1] slot respectively.
A Prince’s infernal power is derived from the unholy tome and infernal inscriptions that make up a Grimoire. The magic cannot be utilized without it - or the ascension of Zar’Akal. Grimoires may be “enchanted” for aesthetic purposes and most importantly so they may hold the Rakir ink used to inscribe the spells; through one emote a Naztherak may summon their Grimoire through any, reasonable, RP aesthetics.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

    Malflame Control
Malflame is the flames conjured from the Hells themselves. While it doesn’t affect much otherwise considered “flammable”, the contact of a soul-bearing individual not only burns persistently until there is nothing left but also a victim's soulblueprint, which leaves a sickly, charred afterglow of the Warlocks respective malflame color. To undermine the pain which results from a malflame burn is an insurmountable challenge.

    Demonology
Demonology is the art of binding, controlling and summoning lesser inferi. Aside from subjection and resurrection it introduces the Naz’kuthun ritual which enables a Naztherak to transform beasts and descendants (with a valid CA) into zevn, zekul or Zar’ei. respectively.
These creatures must be captured and created through roleplay and bound to the Grimoire, from which they are summoned.

    Pacting
Optionally, once a Prince reaches tier 3, they may choose to pact with their Striith, or Infernal Familiar, in order to gain abilities gifted by their Patron-Prince. Pacting allows a Naztherak to dedicate up to two additional slots in order to gain Boons & Banes, and Cursed Fire. The Prince also gains the features beared by their Familiar. A Naztherak’s Familiar thereon maintains the same intellect as a descendant, allowing them to work as an “advisor” to the Prince, or undermine them in order to work against them; their overall function is to bring about further work from the Hells via their respective Warlock.
One of the greater rewards given by a Patron are the Boons & Banes. Applicable in an aesthetically freeform manner, a Prince may spend two [2] emotes out of combat channeling their infernal energy to creating the boon and/or bane. These may present themselves in the form of Ilzakarn text through a painful sear into the victims skin.

A Prince may access this ability by dedicating an additional [1] slot to the magic.

    Curses
Using the malices gifted through the Narthuzka ritual, a Naztherak who dedicates an additional piece of their soul (one [1] slot to the magic) may now have access to "cursed fire" and "cursed idols". These curses allow a Naztherak to imbue their malflame with a malice of their choosing through an additional charging emote. These malices may also be added into trinkets, cursed idols, which when held up to 3 OOC days will progress into a detrimental curse. These curses can easily be broken or purged with Holy Magic.

As well, they may receive a cursed flame relevant to their Patron should they devote their soul to receive cursing; Venom for the Serpent, Kiiztria, for example. Venom cursed fire will have a victim progressively attain a persistent sickness.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

T3 combative malflame manipulation spell “Uzgiirk”:

[!] A hand extended palm up, and ‘pon such a grimoire was summoned through an ethereal violet flame. Flesh-constructed with eyes that followed any who gazed upon it. It remained floating above the warlock’s hand while the other began to sparkle with the accursed words that dripped from her tongue; “Uzgiirk”.

[!] The cinders that crackled above her hand began to well further into violent flames. They stretched and compressed over and over until two balls of fire were connected through a chain.

[!] The warlock’s gaze trailed her target, following them closely, but at a distance, allowing enough time for the bola to grow in her hand. Spinning quicker and quicker with each passing moment.

[!] Finally, with a grunt, the warlock's hand reeled back before whizzing the bola through the air toward her target. Enveloping the poor descendant’s legs, causing him to yelp and writhe in pain as he was taken down.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

"One’s grimoire is the key to their success as a Prince.” Began the instructor. “It is a tool of knowledge, and without it you cannot summon forth your  felflame.” A talon rose, then her palm laid flat in the air. “However,” She added, cinders crackling from her palm before a flame appeared. When it fell, her grimoire was in its place, hovering open above her hand - it faced her student. “In order to summon such, one must read out the incantation from the page. Which, in due time, you ‘ll have pages covered in incantations. Once you read, your maleus will form - the combination will bring forth your flame. From thereon you can manipulate it depending on your choosing of infernal spell.”

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

Unintended or not I’d point out what part, or parts, of the emote which is powergaming and elaborate why it is so. Should it continue then another warning and harsher point-out will be given. If neither of these approaches work, then I would confront the ST about it and/or request that student be removed from my TA entirely.
