Conrad was raised on the outskirts of Markev by his father, a lowly farmer. They lived in a shack by the Czena River and tended to the fields most days. It was hard work, but Conrad appreciated it, thankful to be warm and fed most nights. When he wasn’t working with his father, Conrad would kill hours with his friends and fool about. It’s with these friends where Conrad developed his strong sense of loyalty. He always had their backs. Years later, after the cold took his father, Conrad moved into the heart of the city where he served King Robert as a petty guard. The years passed slowly but Conrad stayed loyal, occasionally serving in campaigns as a mercenary. Today, he still lives in Markev, roaming the streets in search of any work worth doing.
