Topheles was born in Renatus to farmers. He had a fairly boring and uneventful childhood. Topheles would wander around the farm and surrounding countryside He joined the Rentatus guard when he was 19 in search of adventure and to leave home. After serving for three years he left the Guard, feeling that it did not give him the adventure he wanted. He took to traveling the world. Topheles seeks the thrill of adventure and the spoils gained from it. In the meantime, he takes on odd jobs to stay fed. Rymar simply wants to explore, collect stuff, and have a good adventure.
