The story of Jynx Balerius begins 23 years ago when he was born in relative obscurity, in a small town west of Markev, that used mostly for supplying Markev with a suitable amount of grain. the upbringing of the child was relatively normal, save for the fact that his skin and his hair were as white as snow, and his eyes, purple with a hue similar to that of an amethyst. around his 14th year, he began to help his father on their plot of the farmland.during his adolescence, he read many books, as to become as smart as a farm boy could, at the age of 14. half a year after Jynx had turned 18, his father had died from an illness no one in the small village could cure, which brought Jynx into adulthood, with no real guide for how to do things, so he just attempted to follow in his father’s footsteps and used 2 amethysts his father had in one of his chests to create decent looking gauntlets. a week or two after his 23rd Name day, he was offered a place in one of the convoys to Markev, which he gladly took, after packing all of his most valuable items into a backpack. once he reached Markev, he never looked back.
