Orion Kue was born in 1759 in the land of the Holy Orenian Empire, near a settlement nea Ves, son of Bruene and Ellinor (Kue). Beginning at birth, Orion seemed to be attached to his father, he respected him and would often learn a lot from the stories he told. From a young age he began working on his family’s farm. At age 6, sister Dea was born. When visiting Ves, Orion began to admire the order within and power that guards/military would emanate, his father would always remind Orion that his father before him (Grandpa Warwick) used to live in the city before it was burnt down in 1711, and had to flee. At 10 years old, while returning from selling grain to market with his father, they were robbed by bandits, and were ignored when they reported the attack to guards. Which made rather than make Orion despise guards and the law, actually made him see the importance of good guards and of justice. Bruene also recounted stories that Warwick told him, of the chaos and instability that followed The war of the Two Emperors, making him believe that law and order must be maintained no matter what. At age 12, Bruene bought Orion his first sword, then he immediately got to practicing.
At age 16, he and his best friend Yuel left, to a far away land to join in a mercenary company. At 21 though, multiple injuries forced Orion to return home to heal. After a few months, Orion was slowly healing , but continued helping around the farm and training, which slowed his recovery. Now, At 23 years of age, and “almost” fully healed it is time to make my own path in this world, whether that is with my own farm or as a soldier.
