Yoggnorph (last name: Podagog) grew up in the city of Leyu'celia. His father was in the military, but his mother had a much harder job. She had an affair with a goblin, which resulted in Yoggnorph’s half-breed brother: Glöggnalf. Glöggnalf was hidden from the outside world because that would cast shame upon the Podagog household. Resent grew in Glöggnalf’s heart, and it all blew up when Glöggnalf shot Yoggnorph in the ankle an arrow. Yoggnorph, who grew adept at the blade, decided that he could not live like this (hiding a half-goblin in the basement) and ventured out into the land of Aegis.
His first experience in the wild was a goblin who pulled a knife on and tried to rob him. Fight or flight kicked in and Yoggnorph tried to attack. He raised his sword and left himself open for attack, and the goblin thief had his chance. He struck Yoggnorph in the face, cutting a deep gash. Yoggnorph had a realization that he must become the greatest swordsman so that he could never feel powerless to a goblin. Yoggnorph is not motivated nor compelled by his race, but instead, his fear of being powerless.
Yoggnorph also has a terrible hatred towards the Undead because of stories his father told him, and how his grandfather, Gilgamesh, fought in the battles in Aegis and eventually perished at the hands of an Undead captain.
Currently, Yoggnorph is a wanderer, with dreams of creating his own nation.
