Once when Skies was 15 years old he went out on a resource gathering mission sent by his father. These missions usually take two to three days. Once Skies finally got all of the necessary resources he made haste back to his small village of the outskirts of Talar’ikur. On his way back he found a wild, untamed cat. Skies knew his father was not a patient man but noticed the cat had a limp. He took two days out of his journey caring for and taming the cat. Once Skies finally came back to the village he knew his dad would be mad for the delay but instead all he saw were flames and ashes. He instantly ran to his collapsed house searching for his family but all he found were scorched corpses. That day Skies made three promises to himself. He’d find out who did this to his family and how to prevent this from ever happening again. Eight years later (present time) Skies has decided to learn artificery magic help hold his second promise.
