Lais Eönwë is a Snow Elf just reaching the age of cultural maturity of 50 after recently turning 52. He lived in the Princedom of Fenn from his birth and trained diligently in the military from the age of 15. He learned the skills of close combat and also how to effectively use a bow and arrow. However, when he was eighteen he was blinded by a spell-gone-wrong cast by his fellow mages. Since then, he has trained to familiarize himself with the area around him using his hearing. He can get around places, but only when he can clearly hear everything around him.
He is quiet and introverted – and he doesn’t mind being alone much of the time, just like how his people encourage isolationist behavior. He tries to avoid confrontation when he can, much more comfortable if everyone works together peacefully and thoughtfully. Living in the vast ice and cold, he spends much of his time indoors reading [a type of braille] and catching up on his studies to become a professor. He is still very young, however, and is still deciding on what path is truly right for him.
