Sadon Brickenden was born a Heartlander and was born to Tybalt Brickenden, Sadon’s mother perished whilst giving birth to him, however his father did forgive him for this. When Sadon was eleven his father was stabbed to death by a horse thief. Sadon’s life of revenge began when he killed the man who killed his father. While on the run, Sadon became acquainted with a small group of forest dwellers who dawn the title of the Men Without Hearts. With these men he learned how to work a sword like a knight would. The group did not last long however, when their leader died during a siege. When Sadon was fifteen he fell in love with a Highlander girl named Gabrielle who took her own life after her father wedded her off to another Highlander. For the past two years Sadon has travelled through the Empire of Man, working as a sell sword to anyone with a heavy pocket.
