Orphaned as a child, So’jinn was accustomed to looking after himself. Being a farfolk and having no name for himself, life in the heartland was difficult to say the least. At the age of 12, So’jinn was picked up by a band of elven pirates who were under the guise of traveling merchants. On the sea was where So’jinn found his true home. So much in fact that he would name himself after his new home, So’jinn: an interpretation of the sound of the wind above the waves and Blackwater: the surname of the captain who treated So’jinn like a son. So’jinn grew into maturity within the life of piracy eventually making his way into the waters of Sutica.
While there, the ship was caught in a rather violent storm. A bolt of lightning struck the mast and So’jinn was struck over the head by the falling debris. He awoke to find himself on the shores of Sutica without any memory of the events that transpired. All he had were the scars of now forgotten battles and a strange blue flag that washed ashore with him that he now wears as a scarf. On a quest for answers or at least some form of closure, he has since embarked on a journey across Arcas. His memories are few, but one has always stayed distinct within his tattered mind: YOUR NAME IS SO’JINN BLACKWATER.
