It was back in the town of Halsworthy, when Finn was born his mother died shortly afterwards. Due to the stress of being a single-parent with a child, the father started to drink and abuse Finn. Everyday was always the same, wake up, get beat, scavenge for food, come back home, get beat again, and sleep in the basement on the cold, hard floor. Until one day when he was just 7 years of age, a fire started in the forest behind Finn’s home and his house was on fire too. The house was burning down, his father was already dead because of third-degree burns and the debris from falling pieces of the roof. Finn started to pass out but before he did he saw a glimpse of a black figure who wore a red scarf and a flint and steel i hand. Finn later woke up in an unfamiliar place in the woods. He came out of the tent he was resting in and saw someone with short, black hair and a long, black coat and two scabbards on his back with a sword in each one. He was cooking fish above a campfire with a girl with long, light brown hair wearing a white and red coat and on her side was a rapier scabbard. He could tell he was still near Halsworthy but he couldn’t tell where. The man in the black coat went up to him and said “ Oh! You’re awake!”. Finn was too scared to respond since he was around two strangers and didn’t know where he was. The black coat man noticed this and said “ Oh, I’m sorry I forgot to introduce myself! The name’s Andrew and the girl over there is Kathryn.” the girl then said “ We were wandering around the forest and saw a forest fire and a house on fire so we rushed as fast as we could to stop the fire. We checked everywhere and you were the only survivor there.” Andrew said “ There was no way that fire could’ve started on it’s own because we found where the fire started and there was nothing that could’ve started it there. The only thing we found that was still in good condition at your home..., was this red scarf.” When Finn saw that scarf he was immediately filled with rage, Kathryn noticed his anger and comforted him. Finn explained to them everything from when he was born to present time. Andrew and Kathryn were both in shock of this story and decided to train Finn to the best of their abilities for him to become a true swordsman. Along the way he learned many ways of combat and life lessons that he would remember forever. When Andrew and Kathryn passed away their one wish was for him to move on and venture forth to become the greatest swordsman alive. He usually loses his cool when he sneezes because that’s when his alternate personality kicks in. He’s filled with adrenaline and strikes down oevery foe in his way with extreme bloodlust and rage. His one goal is always to find out who burned his house down... and kill them. Because even though his father abused and hated him... Finn still loved him.
