The DarkStone Marauders, of The Sallied Salormen. The DarkStone Marauders, pillagers of towns and searchers of treasures. The kings of the seas and the killers of the rich. The drinkers of rum and the keepers of gold. The DarkStone Marauders are a crew of pirates that rose up in Aegis. They ruled the seas of Aegis for numerous years. They had a bloodthirsty captain and a cut-throat crew. They burred their treasures on a remote island, and the map was locked up in the captains cabin. The pirates, like any other pirate had a need for gold that they valued higher than everything else, with the exception of their lives. They were out at sea when the horrible storm began that would end Aegis. The Captain had heard rumors of the flood, but had thought it a lie. He was dreadfully wrong. Horror struck them, but their love for gold would indeed be the end of them. The crew was nearby shore, and two of crew members threw themselves overboard, swimming for shore. They were the smart ones. The other 11 crew members, including the Captain, called them cowards and set the ship off - for the treasure. They weren't leaving the treasure behind. They were going to get it before Aegis was flooded. Were they making the mistake that would cost their lives, or were they making the decision that would make them all rich as a Lord? They reached the Island, dug the treasure up and loaded it onto the ship. They cheered, and set sail. When they arrived at port, they quickly unloaded the treasure and began carrying it to the Fringe's Portal. As they reached the portal, they were greeted by closed gates, and whirling water. The entire crew was drowned in Aegis, with the exception of two men. Quartermaster, Chopper Long, First Mate, One Eye. They were the wise ones, who chose their lives over gold. And so the two began to re-create The DarkStone Marauders, in the Fringe. They are gathering a crew, and they need members. Description of Roles: Captain: Leads the crew, drives the ship. In command. First Mate: The Captains first mate. The one the Captain has chosen as his most trusted crew-member and pirate. Has some authority, but not much. QuarterMaster: Decides what happens on the daily life on-ship. Has enough authority to give orders. Scout: Stands on crows-nest and looks out for land and other ships. When on land he's usually first to enter town to-be-pillaged. Ships Cook: The one who cooks food for the crew. Second Mate: Has no authority, but is the one Captain chooses as his second most crew-member and pirate. Crewman: Does all the daily jobs on the ship, like raising the sails, bailing water, pillaging the towns, and even at times rowing. Blacksmith: Makes all of the weapons and armor for the crew. Ships Doctor: In charge of all Medical Matters on board. Ill split yer gizzard, ye landlubber! Why, I oughta chop you down like a slab'o beef! Arghhh! Ill split'ye! Ill plunder yer coffer, ye parrot lovin' scruvy dog! You can use some of the most fantastic insults ever. 4. Pirate Accent's can basically be however you like. 5. You can wear an eyepatch, have only one or have a pet parrot! 6.
