    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a player possesses knowledge of events or other characters that they logically would not have. Essentially, it's applying the roleplayers knowledge to the character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when one player/roleplayer takes complete control of a situation, controlling what happens to their rp partners or how they react. It can also be acting in a way that is unrealistic and out of character for the role they are playing.

Elizaveta cocked an eyebrow at the well-dressed man before taking a step back. She held her belongings slightly closer to her person. She didn't understand why he was so eager to make conversation and was somewhat suspicious of him. But, she wasn't going to be rude and not answer. She bit her cheek, thinking over her answer before finally replying.

 

"Wealth," she stated firmly. "Or work anyway. I've come for work."

 

She looked past him and towards the market, eyeing up goods she probably couldn't afford with what she had on her. She exhaled and looked back at the man.

 

"And... you wouldn't happen to know where I could find any, do you?"
