Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Yondu narrows his eyes at the old hag, his boots still caked in mud from the trek through the bog. He studies her carefully, then lets out a short, gravelly chuckle.
“Aye, seems word travels faster than a hawk in these parts.” He steps toward the cushion but doesn't sit just yet. “Name’s Yondu. I hail from the Broken Peak ranges, born under stone and storm. The gods carved me outta granite and stubbornness, or so my mother claimed.”

He finally lowers himself onto the cushion, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Wasn’t planning to stop in this sodden pit, but fate’s got a funny way of dragging you where you need to be. If you already know me, you know I don’t spin tales for free—so what is it you really want to know?”
