Alan_Etherworth was a normal child, but he didn't want to think he was. He felt he was extraordinary, even though there never was any evidence of it. He prefers to be alone, and often is so, mostly because the other teenagers of the place he lives doesn't think to well of him. He recently moved into the Federation of Sutica, and now has an opportunity for a new start there. His mother and father were ambushed by bandits a few years before, but he is not aware of what happened to them afterwards, he suspects them dead but is not sure.

She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
