Otto von Hohenzollern, Hanseti Highlander, descendent of knights of the Teutonic Order, is a steward apprentice in the Kingdom of Haense to James Truwood (not sure if that is his in game name, that is who I communicated with on Discord). His father, Erwin, the typical burly dark-haired Hanseti Highlander wanted young Otto to serve honorably in the Royal Army, but his slimmer and blonde mother, Hannah, who is believed to have some Heartlander blood in her ancestry, pushed Otto to be more academically ambitious, especially after recognizing his slim figure in his young adult years. Through close friends and connections, Otto's mother was able to have him trained under several different scholars over the years until he was finally old enough to apprentice under a steward. However, in spite of his scholarly lessons consuming most of his time, Erwin still found time to train young Otto in close combat, including a simplified version of medieval grappling and short sword skirmishing. Overall, Otto is a fairly studious, friendly, but reserved. Although at a young age, he was quite obedient due to his father's militaristic style of upbringing, his academic studies loosened Otto's tongue, so he quite often asks questions, is willing to push the "guidelines," and think outside the box. He has gained an appreciation for the old Highlander arts and music.

Physical Description: wavy blonde hair and light facial hair, green-blue eyes, and a black/white/dirty grey chain mail uniform with a gold-yellow scarf, sinewy-lean figure
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

I have to say, this application was well put together. You have quite a few lore references, you're definitions are great, and you've seemed to really take time out to flesh your character and his history. However, I cannot outright accept it for a few reasons. They are listed below:

  • Your backstory is well put together and has quite a few lore references, however, the timeline does not match up with the server history. Anthos alone was nearly three hundred years ago in server lore, Aegis even longer. For your character, a human who only lives up to 150 years old at max, to of been around for the Teuntonic Order's existance during these times, he'd of died of old age. As such, you'll need to rework his story to show a more recent timeline of events.
  • Your facts require at least one flaw.

You have up to 24 hours to make these changes. If you fail to do so, you will be denied and will be required to wait an additional three hours before applying again. I have made some corrections to my application to better fit the timeline and leave room for flaws in character, such as potential unruliness and nearsightedness. Simply said, my character would make for a horrible military archer :p
