Let the past be past, as the elf only desires to look forward. Miss Enrona was raised alone by two kind yet strict parents. Born and raised in Iryalen, the child was taught discipline and respect in a world where darkness has its own side of the coin. The elf's mother was a kind, gentle women, that always did whatever the little kid asked, though her dad was a bit more strict, but still loved her the way she was, even if she wasn't perfect.
Though it wasn't anything expensive, their family and she did the best they could to earn an honest and fair living, never appealing to the forces of evil for compensation that may even cost them their lives. Lixiss, not being a picky elf, the family managed to live in peace for the most part, even if her dad was a bit hard-headed; they managed to make peace with the neighbours. Sadly, not all high elves are lucky.
Being a bit shy of the unknown individuals, our little elf tends to get close to one person and attaches to them, more like a little puppy that just wants to find safety and comfort without the threat
At the end of her childhood, the elf's family went into debt, and with sad and heartbreaking news exactly on her birthday, her dad took the chance to sit down with her and explain the situation. Even though faith decided to rip them apart, the elf took the opportunity to venture into the world and spread kindness, because mercy is always a skill more people can use.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
Startled by the words spoken from the hag, the high elf shoots a glance towards them, puffing in shock. "Oh my g-.." Lixiss stated, saying it a tad bit louder than she was supposed to. Her eyes trailed over their appearance, a bit on the edge by the old hag's approach. After a moment, she glanced over towards the chair that she was talking about, before complying with their request - sitting down.
Let the wind that carries the words over to her be witnessing her rapid breathing and the hitches of breath she exhales from time to time.
"I.. have travelled from the east.. I apologise if I'm intruding, I was just looking for a place to sleep for the night." Though there was still something unsettling about her. First of all, why was the hag even expecting Lixiss? It was ood, creepy even. Miss Enrona raised her left leg before neatly placing it on top of these other one, resting her palms on her own lap. A reality check. She wanted to be sure she wasn't dreaming, by slightly applying pressure on the surface of her skin.
"I was born and raised in.." Skeptical, why would she need to know? But at a chance of fulfilling her request by finding a shelter to sleep in, she gave her security up. "Iryalen.. my family are still there.. - trying to make a living." Tipping her head to the side, Lixiss inspected the small room she was in, finding it very bland and boring, but alas she can't say really comment on it.
The last question finally arrived, placing difficulties in the poor elf. The female had no goals. - In fact, the only reason she was wandering the streets of these lands is because she couldn't stay home longer. She missed her parents dearly. And even though departing from them was a sacrifice, it was needed for the families sake and her own so she could figure out who she needs to be. "I.. want to be kind." She stated, quite shy about it. It sounds corny, but indeed this is what the female wanted. "I desire to make my family proud of me.. and even help them overcome their poorness.. that's what my dream contains." She was true to her word, in fact, she wanted to let her presence known in the world as a kind individual!
"May I dare to ask.. why are you asking me all of this?" Question for a question, it's not simple for just anyone to ask you all of this without questioning her intents.. Her tone dropped into a low whisper, dropping her head as she asked. ".. And. . May I spend the night over, please..?"
