Amina was born in the autumn season under a huge tree with falling leaves colored red, orange and yellow, that happened to compliment the color of her eyes once she was born to her mother and father, which was close to a small house they lived in inside the woods. A few years later when she was around 5 years old, she had a younger brother born named Raj. When Amina was old enough, her father taught her and Raj how to defend themselves if they ever got into trouble. Her father was a very skilled fighter that was in the Kadarsi Caliphate army, so he knew what he was doing. Her father also taught her many skills that usually a man would pick up, such as blacksmithing, carpentry, and woodworking. Although her mother, taught her cooking and some tailoring, and how to play the Lyre. Her mastery when it came to skills came down to blacksmithing above all, as she picked it up very quickly and easily. Amina decided that she was going to go off and learn more of the trade (not just limited to blacksmithing but also woodworking and carpentry,) even though her Farfolk culture opposes women being able to do a man’s job. Raj asked if he could go with her, but their parents said he was too young to go out into the world on his own, so in this case he rebelled by running away and was never to be seen again. Amina was saddened by this, but she made her way towards the city of Haense, hoping she’d be able to learn more advanced skills as an apprentice and start her own business to make a living. Unfortunately when she tried to become an apprentice to a blacksmither, he rejected her for being a Farfolk woman despite her skill. She went from job to job, some for cooking, some for playing the Lyre in the streets but wasn’t getting enough money to survive comfortably, so she struggled. Right now, she is attempting to survive by mild thievery (stealing mainly money and food,) playing the lyre out in the street every now and then, and spends some time in the woods hunting and gathering.
