    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is knowing information that your active roleplaying character would not originally know unless being informed by someone else. For example, my character cannot immediately know someones name just from meeting them the first time.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is making your active roleplaying character do something that they would not physically or mentally be able to do realistically. It can quickly shut down a roleplay, giving the powergamer an unfair advantage compared to the other roleplayers.
