You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Leonardo Divecchia looks around as he casts a furtive glance at the low doorway he passed through. He glances down to the cushion before him his face filling with warm past memories "My story is not a good one. What do you want to know in particular?" As he finishes speaking he adopts a quizzical expression before going off on an unforseen tangent "I am going to join my family the Divecchias! When my twin left, I realized there was nothing left for me at home. Our family needs its power if we are to succeed in this new place. I will not let my kin down, especially my brother. Illatian folk are laughed at far too often where I come from, and I will ensure this does not continue in the land of Aevos. We will be a bastion for humanity! House Divecchia will be an example for all humans to follow in strength and valor. Anyone who opposes our growth will be destroyed, and I am sure that will our resolve of steel we will wreck the opposition! Family is everything where I hail from, and our bond is unbreakable. No matter the cost I will ensure a future for our family and all who align themselves with us." As Leonardo speaks about his family he moves his hands full of animation and excitement. Upon stronger inflections he purses his thumb to his other fingers in traditional Illatian fashion.
The hag nods excitedly and claps a little "Yes little one go make your family proud!"
"Goodbye ma'am I certainly will" he says as he stoops once more leaving the cabin to face the world
