Kaeda stumbles and lurches his way onto the docks, his sea legs just having become familiar with the rocking and rolling of the ship he had just disembarked. Though he definitely felt nauseous, a different bubbly feeling started building up in his stomach as he witnessed the beautiful sight of a new city laid out in front of him. He could smell the sulfur in the air from a nearby blacksmith, the scent mixing with the cool ocean breeze. Through rows and rows of shops, tents, and mats with people selling all sorts of vividly colored fruits, and equally bright accessories, he could tell that he likely came at a good time. He almost doesn't notice the well-dressed man looming in front of him, and is taken aback for a quick second before realizing that someone looking like this probably wouldn't be so brazen as to rob him in broad daylight.
Kaeda swallows and silently composes himself, relaxing his features and taking on a less defensive stance.
He wonders for a moment if the man who had so eagerly approached him wasn't instead some sleazy salesperson, hoping to capitalize on a clearly dazed and vulnerable tourist. Regardless, he figures there shouldn't be any harm in humoring a seemingly innocent question, so he formulates a reply.
"Well, if I had to choose one, adventure certainly sounds the most exciting, though I'd be perfectly fine just wandering and seeing where that takes me. Though if I may say, it would seem like I must fit some sort of profile, for you to approach me with those three things thought up. You must get a lot of people coming through here looking for wealth, fame, and power, I'm guessing." Kaeda smirks, feeling smug. "Well, I doubt you have whatever it is I might be looking for, so if you'll excuse me..." If there was no objection from the man in the suit, Kaeda would attempt to push on through the crowd, hoping to get lost in more of the sights and sounds of the city.
