You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Willows' Response: 

Ace hesitatingly looked behind him at the way he came. After looking back at the woman, he thought "Well, if she knows who I am it might get interesting and maybe she'll even help me." He uneasily sat down. He started telling his story "I was part of this old small town; the rest of the town were pretty violent. Me, Ace Willows, was "too soft" as the town would call me, and didn't want to kill anyone or do any harm. My mom (Villa Willows) understood me. But one day, I found my mom in our little cabin on the floor bruised and in pain with 4 other guys a bit older than me (I was 15) standing over her with bloody fists. They looked at me smiled cruelly and killed her with a dagger. They laughed. I was livid. Little did I know this would be the last time I would be "Soft". I launched myself at the one with the bloody dagger, punched him in the face, shocking him, I took the knife and killed him. The other guys looked at me terrified. They looked at the guy I just killed (a boy named Cray) and took out their daggers from their hilts. I killed them all. A day later - I was locked in a cell during that time - the village chief came to visit. He looked at me. He said "Get out. Go. You're not welcome here anymore." With that he walked away with the cell door unlocked. I went to go grab the dagger that killed my mom along with food, water, boots, a vest, and a cloak. Now I just wondered around keeping away from people. I feel like I can't trust no one. And now I'm here." He finished.
