Astria had a fairly normal childhood, she was born in a small cottage up in a mountain where she lived with her parents and her brother who was born 15 years after her. Her father died to unknown causes shortly after her brother was born. When she turned 16 her mother moved her and her brother into a forest where she met wood elves and learned about different plants and herbs. One of the plants she learned about was the Gislocinovi which has healing abilities and can be used as an antibacterial bandage when strung together with string. Another is the FlameTongue Root that has spores that make one extremely sensitive to pain and those same spores cause a sensation of burning. When she turned 17 her mother died and she was left to take care of her brother all by herself. Two years later her brother went missing for 5 months before he turned up again in tattered clothing. He never explained why he went missing or how he managed to come back home alive. Ever since then she's been a bit overprotective of him. When she turned 18 she moved to the Silver State of Haelun'or with her brother.
