You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
He took the seat as he put his Zwei-Händer next to him, he stared over to the woman and said "My first question is, how come were you expecting me- Either way, I came from another town to search for something important. I heard you were the one that knew this place. Would you mind explaining me the details of where I'm going? I was told I should arrive to my destination after the next 3 sunrises as I departed but I received no information on how the place is like. It seemed out of desperation." The knight rested his hands on his lap as he leaned forward a bit, he was desperate for information before departing.
The old lady stared at him for a moment and let out a sigh. Apyotr looked at her for a moment at her with confusion “So, you won’t tell me-“ He didn’t know what to say and sighed. The lady finally spoke “I’m not talking about your journey, I’m talking about what you can’t let out.“ Apyotr for a moment, analyzes her from up and down, looking out around him. He decided to rub his hands on his face and leave small scratches on his face from the badly made gauntlets. He seemed uncomfortable but decided to say it “Why is that story so important? I was left in the middle of no where and does it affect me?” The knight stared at his sword and back at her for polite manners “It has for an amount of time but it’s nothing excruciating. It’s not as saddening to me anymore because in the end, no one really cares? You just keep moving on and try to live life the way you see yourself for.”
The lady got up to walk to a another room to do a certain task. Meanwhile, Apyotr got up and stared out in the open, admiring the view. He had a dream of being in peace after his adventures, he wanted to be part of a adventure he could speak or write about in the near future. Bacher didn’t have the greatest childhood or a sort of education of some sort, he had it tough his entire life but still acknowledged for something better. A better world in his thoughts, still shows he has a childish side he hides from the public but would do so much to reach it if he could.
The lady came back with what seemed a red tarp and a leather cord “You might need these, the leather is for the lower of your heavy blade, to be able to break the sharpnesses of countering swords incoming to you and the red tarp for a nice look on it.“ Apyotr turned around and took the two acquired items and walked towards his sword, sitting down before putting it on his lap. The Zwei-Händer has Cirilic writings on it and stared to wrap the leather cord in between the handle and the teeth of the blade and tighten it really really hard. He placed the red tarp in the bottom of the handle of the weapon and make a knot out of it. Apyotr got up and stared over to the lady saying “I’m not going to ask again, talk to me about this place. I didn’t come here to talk about myself but about my mission. I’m just someone willing to do a important task so please I ask you my lady, give me information about this place and I’m return I’ll hand you over some riches.”
After a few hours, the sun would start setting, signaling that our knight has to move. He walked out of the shelter as he put his sword on his back hip and turned towards the lady “Thank you and as promised.” He handed her a small sack of gold “Here’s your price.” Apyotr took is route again towards his destination, he knew he didn’t have much time and started to speed up his walking pace to reach the location before the next few sunrises.
