You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: "If you know why I'm here then you know my story", says Aeglas Rishadan of Nor,aseth standing in the entrance. "I insist" she said, "and leave the sword I also know how you last dealt with a magic user". he pauses for a moment before obeying and taking his seat leaning back and crossing his legs. "to be fair she had it coming". "And those at Haenes?" "It was wartime the more I slew the better the pay many did the same, but I came here to ask questions not answer them so tell me, I have an unpaid debt where do I find the knight of mists?"

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: knowing my character and avid actions he couldn't preform, and giving other players a chance to have a fair roleplaying experince, hes not a god or some legendary fighter he's just some dude whos been in combat a fair amount of times.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: using information that my character doesn't know takes people out of the immersion, for example if i read over a wiki page and then used that information without my character knowing this. that wouldn't be cool
