    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the use of OOC knowledge in an IC context. For example, if you find out through scouring the forums that so-and-so character is planning to do x plan, and then make efforts IC to curtail said plan, that is metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the use of excessive power to force an injury on another person in roleplay. In essence, powergaming could be when one player forcefully inflicts damage on another character without any attempt or chance for the other character to respond.
