    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: using out of character info and giving the character that knowledge. for example if someone told me that there was a raid somewhere and I would let my character run there although no one told my character about it, that would be metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: power gaming is when you do unrealistic or too powerful for your character actions. so playing with too much power where it is unfair, its power gaming. for example if I emote something like ''Alice choked bob to death.'' that would be unfair and bob would have no chance to not be choked. so instead I would have to say ''Alice attempted to choke bob'' so bob would have the power to get out of the situation. having crazy powers or being invisible would also be power gaming and unfair.

  • Your Powergaming Definition is on the right track, though it’s not quite there. Take another look at our Wiki’s definitions for help, and I recommend including an example so I can tell you fully understand!
