    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when someone applies the knowledge they know in real life to a character who would otherwise not know of this knowledge or concept.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is what I like to call "main character syndrome," where one decided that their character is the most powerful and important player in the server.

Kali, upon entering such a busy and bustling city, would be immediately overwhelmed yet fascinating by her surroundings. Upon being confronted by this gentleman, Kali would look over her shoulder to see who he could possibly be talking to. "Um, me?" She would say. Upon confirmation, she would furrow her brow, deep in thought. "Um, I'm looking for my father. He, um, looks like me... but a bit taller, and-" She would continue to stutter and describe the appearance of her father to the man, who grows more and more confused with each description. "If you haven't seen him, that's alright too! Um, is there an inn nearby? I've never been on a ship before, and it's... starting to get to my stomach..."
