Egbert had moved his supplies on the pier as he his attention was then stolen by the large amount of shops and stalls - he decided to walk in, wander around to have a look rather than actually buy.
Shortly after, Egbert is approached by a well-dressed individual, looking upon him with a big smile. Egbert is greeted with:
“Welcome! What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”
He is taken away by the confidence of the individual - who is this man suddenly coming up to him, wondering about his business? Egbert expresses himself by retorting:
“I don't usually relay my own plans to complete strangers - whether they're a well-dressed man like you or not. However allow me to quench your curiosity." Egbert says, elevating himself to the same level of confidence as the individual standing before him. “I intend to open a tavern, to serve both hungry and thirsty customers. I offer mead to the community- for I know everybody here deserves some comfort to make up for all their work. Travellers, adventurers, merchants - anybody is allowed, I do not make any distinctions."
Surprisingly interested, the invididual expresses, quite excited: “Quite an idea, mister! I will make sure to visit your tavern one day, perhaps try some of your mead. Carry on, friend. And have a great stay, the city is quite fruitful at this time of the year!" says, as he waddles off in the crowd gathered around the market.
