    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: power play is when you think your character is the main important character in a story but in a roleplay with other people that is just not acceptable . especially when your character starts ignoring the rules of the game to make there character have a huge advantage over others to avoid this i will play on my characters flaws and stick to the rules on the server.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: meta gaming is when the player acts upon information not learnt for example someone tells me of there backsroy in the discord and i in turn then speak of that backstory when my character shouldn't know , to avoid this i will ask for no heavy lore to be told to me and only in roleplay.

Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
 

"Well im am what ypu would call a traveling performance, i can do many of tricks card , ive pulled a hare out of a hat once ... but i suppose this is more to hide from my high elf family.. i dont like to mention it the past is the past after all ."

"they where just..the big circus life then the pressure to focus more on bigger tricks harder spells , they started scamming meaning we had to lesve skip towns very often."
